Chance is not only an Attorney, he is human, imagine that! Truly he through his own life experiences has gained much needed empathy and personal understanding, a characteristic trait often missing in legal council. I for one still have what I call a PTSD to anything legal although my offense took place over 20 years ago. I needed someone I could not only trust, but treat me honesty, consideration and a little kindness thrown in. Knowing that Chance serves as the current President of ACSOL (all4consolaws org); I retained Chance in order to petition for my relief from the California Sex Offenders Registry, which indeed was thankfully granted after 20+ years, I can still hardly believe it. Chance was incredible the entire time. He showed tremendous professionalism and explained matters very simply. He was attentive and available when I had questions or needed to talk about my case. If you are looking to do the same, I advise you NOT to go it alone, there were odd twists and turns throughout the process which Chance successfully navigated us through. If the Justice System was populated by more people like Chance Oberstein, we would all benefit. He is knowledgeable, tenacious and creative. He kept me informed. He dealt with me calmly, ethically, and as an additional positive, his fees were very reasonable. I am grateful to have had Chance rep...resent me. Chance is an excellent and dedicated lawyer. I have sadly been dumped by a few layers in the past—took my money and never heard from them again!
