Always Helps Me

This lawyer always helped me. He hired people who needed help or didn't fit in. He takes care of the community and frankly, he tells some of the best historical stories about Palm Springs early days before it was the place we know today. He could charge for how entertaining and fun his star studded a...dventures have been, yet he never charges unfairly for consult time. I know people from Big Bear to the coast who have sought his help he doesn't add uneccesary fees for a good chat. I've even asked him to help me write a book! Not one for harsh words, he didn't exactly tell me it was a bad idea, he just let it go and didn't say anything to my inquiry! I understand completely. He gives the best advice to starters like me. I would trust him with my own estate, and I would recommend him to anyone needing advice on family issues too, such as an explanation of how an executor is chosen and if there is any way to exclude a family member from important decisions and monies owed from an estate with licensibke copyright assets of legacy nature. Can't keep a kid down, not even a goat!

Yes, you can get rid of your timeshare !!!

I cannot thank Mitchell Sussman & associates enough ! I had two timeshares that I could not sell or give away, I was paying maintenance fees that I could no longer afford, for timeshares I could no longer use. Thank you so much !

Timeshare Contract Released

I highly recommend Mr. Sussman and his team. I purchased a time share from Hilton thinking I was getting a good deal for vacations. Later found out that I was spending more money trying to keep the timeshare and didn't have the funds to travel. All information was not fully released at time of purc...hase, such as increase in maintenance fees, RCI fees and vacation resorts not available most of the time for dates needed. I was not able to sell the timeshare because of the decrease in value. Hilton did not want to purchase the property because I did not have it long enough. I was concerned that I would not be successful going up against Hilton, because it is Hilton. I searched the internet and found Mr. Sussman. I read all the reviews on him and the info on BBB website. The good reviews totally out weighed any negative reviews. Mr. Sussman assured me I would be released from my timeshare. The process went quickly and his team was excellent in keeping me updated regarding the process. His rates are very reasonable. Thank you Mr. Sussman!!

Experienced and Recomended for all Real Estate Law Needs

I needed legal help in the Coachella Valley regarding a joint property agreement I had made together without legal counsel. Everything seemed like a great plan until time went by and none of my co-investors were pleased with limitations we had failed to fully consider before committing. Mitchell Sus...sman had been highly recommended to me through friends and acquaintances who have more experience with the ups and downs of real estate for travel, business and family/social needs. After all concerned agreed to retain him, Mitchell gave recommendations and legal solutions quickly. We were all able come away feeling confident in letting him manage the particulars of our real estate situation. He was fair and we felt he was considerate to our joint financial being first, while helping me take the best actions with respect to the family member and former business associate involved in our hastily made real estate investment turned predicament. Our case was complicated by my emotions surrounding a regrettable but initially attractive time share scenario. We all went in feeling the excitement surrounding the potential before allowing ourselves to think pragmatically. Mitchell's use of language we were all comfortable with to clearly explain complicated laws helped us walk away from our sticky situation, free from property woes That were hampering our mutual desire to begin repairing our personal lives after a decision that we all wish we had consulted Mitchell about before jumping into on our own. Now that we understand how to spot unexpected pitfalls, we may decide to give vacation property another joint attempt, but we'll definitely start with legal first instead of waiting for problems to get beyond our understanding and patience.

Timeshare Advice

I was referred to Mr. Sussman through a mutual friend. I'm semi-retired and I run my own business. I was considering a time-share and felt there was something iffy about the contract terms, but I couldn't put my finger on it--legalese gives me a headache. I took it to Mr. Sussman and he very clearly ...and straightforwardly explained what was wrong with the terms. Needless to say I did not go through with the purchase.

"I am an Entertainment attorney with my own practice. Like many attorneys, I frequently get requests from my family for matters outside my practice area. I referred my parents to Mitchell Reed Sussman to try and solve a difficult problem they had been having with a timeshare they purchased while on a trip in Mexico. They were at wits end and really wanted to have it resolved. Mitchell quickly responded to both my initial inquiry and to the follow up contact from my parents. In less than a month he was able to successfully resolve this issue. I trust him completely and would gladly refer him to anyone in need of competent, dogged, and efficient counsel."

"I endorse this lawyer. In addition to his superb legal skills, what sets Mitchell apart from his peers are a combination of finely-honed tactical skills combined with uncommon common sense. It is one thing to know the law; it takes a rarer skill to implement it effectively. Mitchell proactively shapes the case to maximize his clients' chances for success, and does so in a thoroughly professional manner. I unreservedly endorse this attorney. Marshall Pearlman"

"Mitch is a sharp-minded lawyer with good business sense and good common sense. He has many years of experience and a thorough knowledge of bankruptcy law. He handles Ch. 11 cases for businesses, as well as consumer Ch. 7 cases. Mitch also is an experienced real estate attorney, and a tough and effective litigator. He is direct in his approach, and doesn't paint unduly rosy pictures for clients. I don't hesitate to recommend him to folks with bankruptcy or real estate matters."

"My name is Cameron James Quinn, and have been practicing law for over 30 years in Orange and Riverside Counties, with emphasis on criminal defense. During that time, I've known Mitchell Reed Sussman--at Pepperdine Univ. School of Law, and as an associate in his offices in Newport Beach and Palm Springs. His practice involves primarily business matters, debtor/creditor issues and bankruptcy proceedings. He is honorable, hardworking, sincere, and dedicated. As a civil litigator, he is focused and indefatiguable. His approach is reasonable and practical. Mitchell devotes time to his family--wife, Joni, and his children, and is active in his community. I stand ready to respond to any inquiry. Cameron James Quinn La Quinta, CA 92253 (760) 772-3663"

Real estate lawyer | Aug 16

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"I endorse this lawyer's work highly. I first met Mr. Sussman in 1993, in a very volatile case where the parties (I represented a home buyer and he a real estate brokerage firm which will not be named) were highly conflicted. Frankly, some lawyers seek to raise conflict either to increase their fees or because they become too identified with their clients. Mitchell Sussman did not pander to either. Instead, he vigorously and ethically represented his clients' interests, and while my clients did not get what they wanted, they almost got what was fair. If any other real estate litigator had represented Mr. Sussman's clients, the facts were bad enough that they would have had serious problems. Cheers Mitchell, you are a lawyer's lawyer!"
