Vassil Rumenov Mitzev

For more than 30 years since I landed in California a first generation immigrant, and now into my second decade of law, I have valued, advocated and defended the ethic, patience, daring and determination which hallmark our community entrepreneurs, property and business owners.

My ardent belief in strong, collaborative, client relationships has permitted me an effective counsel to avoid debilitating litigation, and to timely return my clients to their carefully charted courses of business evolution, growth and successful operations.

I litigate and try civil actions on behalf of individual, commercial and public entity clients. I manage and try product liability and intellectual property claims on behalf of manufacturers, employment cases on behalf of business owners, and premises liability actions.

I defend civil and administrative claims against automotive dealerships and environmental actions involving governmental regulatory agencies.

I represent real property owners and tenants in commercial land use, lease, zoning, partition and easement disputes.

I am admitted in all California Courts, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals and before the United States Supreme Court. I am qualified Judge Pro Tem in San Diego County.

I am regularly engaged in Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego Counties, federal court, including federal class actions, and in appellate cases to preserve or overturn a lower decision.
