I came to meet Susan under the most stressful conditions one might ever come across; the mother of my children was killed in the Seal Beach Salon shootings three years ago, almost to the day of this review. As emotions raged on through this process Susan never wavered, she never let the clouded and highly emotional expressions of the kids deter her from her path of assuring those kids got what their mother would very much want for them; fairness. While I was never made aware of the actual numbers involved, I know they certainly weren’t life changing, but I do know my kids are a little better off than if Susan had not come into their lives.
