One of my parents recently passed and I was introduced to Charles. I asked Charles to take a look at the affairs of my family’s estate. He was very thorough in presenting the different issues of our estate, tax implications, and the different avenues available to us. He explained everything very c...arefully and patiently during an emotionally difficult time. My family and I asked a lot of questions and he was able to explain and answer each of our questions to our satisfaction. He made himself available and promptly responded to emails and calls as he guided us through our estate plan --very pleased with him as both a person and an attorney.

My father and I hired Charles a few months ago to assist with my Mother's probate issues. Because she resided (and subsequently passed away) in another state, my father and I were unsure of what we were supposed to do. We initially approached an attorney in our home state, and he advised that we al...so collaborate with an attorney in California. A college friend of mine suggested that we contact Charles. Not only has he prepared all the necessary documents and advised my family about the different avenues which we could pursue, but he has done so with compassion. He goes above and beyond to ensure that we are well informed prior to making any major decisions. Coming from a finance background, I have worked with a multitude of estate planning and probate attorneys. Charles' knowledge, in addition to his natural client relations skills, far surpassed all of the other attorneys combined! I would highly recommend Charles for anyone's estate planning and/or probate needs.

Charles is a fantastic lawyer. My company hired him to handle some of our employment and tax law issues, none of which any of us were equipped to handle, or even frankly understood. Charles was incredibly thorough, patient and explained everything to us in a relatable manner. Sorry, but there's nothi...ng I hate more than lawyer jargon! Charles made sure we understood all risks, outcomes, etc but without using jargon that we would have to ask him "Wait, what the heck does that mean?" He also makes sure that he's providing the guidance that you need without all of the "upselling." We've been thrilled with his work and look forward to working with him again.

Charles was really helpful throughout the probate process for my family (did all the work, was on top of things, etc). I was told the probate process would take a long time because of the California court system, but it didn't take nearly as long as he'd warned me it might. He kept me informed throug...hout the entire process and always quickly responded to my questions via phone/email. Would definitely recommend him.
