As a real estate broker, rarely have I encountered situations where a seller refuses to refund a buyer’s deposit when an offer to purchase a home is canceled. This case was especially surprising—and frustrating. I have engaged Brian's representation in the past, with success. This time was no exception. The challenge arose due to the contract being unclear on this specific matter, but Brian helped clarify my client's legal entitlement to a refund. As a result, the seller quickly acquiesced.
