Mr. Peck is among the most experienced attorneys in the country, in special education law. His cases are precedents for Courts and hearings officers. He is so confident in his skills, he doesn't need to charge his clients legal fees; he wins them.

    28 years, 1,000 cases

As President of LegalAction, Mr. Peck created a program called the AdvocacyProject where select clients are not charged legal fees for representation in special education matters. The AdvocacyProject uses different attorneys to work on different aspects of client's cases. In this way, attorneys can work on cases in their areas of strength and become proficient in specific tasks.

Mr. Peck considers himself a ‘legal strategist’ in special education law on appeal and trial-level proceedings. He has worked on well over a thousand matters on behalf of children with disabilities. He co-authored and presented the American Bar Association’s Continuing Legal Education instruction on Special Education Law. He regularly appears before the United States District Court and has been lead counsel in approximately 100 United States District Court appeals and a dozen Ninth Circuit Court appeals involving I.D.E.A. and Constitutional issues. Co-counsel in Hawaii’s class action for special education rights and original lead counsel on Hawaii’s Olmstead action, he also participated in establishing a right to damages under Section 504 in the 9th Circuit. In cross-examination and oral argument, he excels.

A Warrior of a Lawyer
Keith Peck is incredible. He knows SPED laws for the state and nation, knows how to hold the school district fully accountable, and has helped us avoid being taken advantage of as parents who do not understand how things work. With our child's complex and ongoing issues, Keith fought tooth and nail to help protect our child's right to the education needed. He has twice served our family's special education legal needs and never once let us down. If you need a warrior, Keith is your lawyer.

Highly recommended
A few years ago Keith has helped my son tremendously! Both of my kids are special needs. Many of you know the challenges we have when it comes to getting that extra help from the school. The DOE alone can be difficult enough for many parents with special needs kids. Well Keith made it happen for us. Originally the DOE had my son on a certificate route for high school and he was expected to stay until the age of 22. I had fought on my own with the school to get that extra help for year, but the school had very little hope in my son succeeding. However I knew he could accomplish the diploma route with that extra help from an RBT because I've seen it done before in ABA services. Many special needs kids can do better one on one but the DOE won't pay. This is were Keith stepped in to helped my son and I! A year later 2018, Keith won and got us that extra help! My son was able to graduated with honors last year! I would recommend Keith to anyone!!

The Best!
Attorney Keith Peck has been a blessing to our family with his keen abilities and laser focus in special education. He navigated us thru IDEA laws to provide our son an appropriate education that was uniquely tailored to our son’s needs. At the age of four, our youngest son was diagnosed with a severe case of Child Apraxia of Speech (CAS). We knew that the only way to make our son functional in the classroom and to make it appropriately translate into society was that he would require several sessions (3-5 days) of intense, one-on-one speech therapy each week. Even with this factually documented diagnosis, the school was only willing to provide minimal services in a cookie cutter format that would NEVER have allowed our child to advance but rather further compound his disability into utter disgrace making him a liability on society. The school would even go so far as to tell us that were we only entitled the to services that they had determined were appropriate. After failing to find a suitable attorney here in AZ to take the school to task, we decided to file for due process on our own. Unfortunately, we did not know how corrupt the system is here in Arizona and in general at the local level. After losing our case at the administrative level, we had no idea what to do. That’s where Keith came in. We contacted him after reading about one of his famously successful cases in the Ninth Circuit. He agreed to take our case and guide us through the process step by step. With his help, we were able to overturn the administrative decision in district court. Even though the school initially appealed to the Ninth Circuit, they eventually decided to settle out of court rather than take on Attorney Keith Peck’s record of wins at the Ninth Circuit! Thanks to Keith we now have a rock star son that functions as God has intended due to the appropriate therapies at an early age that CAS requires.

A helping hand
Keith Peck helped me and my son with the DOE special education department. Keith won 3 of my son's lawsuits with the DOE. The one thing I learned from all of this is you need a great and knowledgeable attorney on your side regarding the DOE special education. There are so many laws that will protect your child especially when you have to do a IEP meeting. I was very surprised when I got everything for my son during the IEP meeting having the attorney to help me step by step to make sure I ask the right questions. Regarding the cost don't worry about it Keith won't charge you because he believes in you and your child and wants the best for your child. Keith is very passionate and driven and a bull dog in court. So if you are looking for attorney who specializes in special education he is the right person for you or your family.

Best Lawyer!!!
Mr.Peck is the best lawyer!!!Before I reached out to him,I am really stressed and frustrated about how the DOE treated my son at school. They always send him home and my son had a lot of reggression.Mr. Peck is incredible! He is so patience on explaining things to me despite of my poor english since its our second language. Now, my son is so happy in his new school and he is getting a lot of support there and he already have a lot of improvements.I can say that Mr. Peck is not only the best lawyer but also a very nice person. He even make sure that his clients are satisfied with any settlement offer.I can say now that I am braver and more knowledgeable about the SPED law and it really helps to get all the support that my son’s need for his improvement.Thank you Mr.Peck!

Keith Peck fought for my son’s education when no one else would. Keith spent numerous hours with me to help me advocate for my son. Living on an outer island, where resources are limited, Keith, made us a priority. Keith Peck cares! No other attorney does what Keith Peck does for students with very special needs. Thank you for fighting for us! Thank you for your time and expertise, Keith.
