I hired him to handle my case I paid him $5,000 he then moved to another state and told me allegedly that he couldn't help me any longer meanwhile I got a failure to appear a warrant and a lot more aggravation and trouble with absolutely no help and no assistance when he told me he could help me and ...now I'm really screwed thanks a lot thanks for nothing he's a thief don't hire him

I hired Chris to help me with a loan modification. Because of his negligence, I almost lost my home. When I contacted my bank directly, they informed me that Mr Barsness did not file the necessary paperwork as he said he had done. Thank god, i took matters into my own hands and saved my home because... Chris kept saying he was handling it, and that couldn't have been farther from the truth. Chris was unethical to say the least and almost cost me everything.

He represented me in a case that I had which he did not file the right documentation. Because of this action I received a judgment against me. I had to file for bankruptcy because of his actions not representing correctly . He offered to help me with my bankruptcy to make up his negligence on ...my first case . In the middle of my bankruptcy he decides to excuse himself out of my bankruptcy case leaving me with no other option to hire another attorney . I do not recommend his services to anybody !!

I am a real estate developer and a home owner. I have intimate knowledge of the legal process of civil litigations in courts. It is the nature of my that/uptcy, and appeal courts in CA. I WILL NOT retain any attorney, other thank Chris. I never lost a case when he was my lawyer. His style: ...He is quiet, calm, collected. But don’t let that fool you. When he talks in court or files motions or deposed. others, he IS the alpha male. Unlike other attorneys who write 50-page motions and hope to some stick, Chris files motions that are short, just a handful of pages, are surgical, and they go for the jugular. He is fearless. Again- he is the alpha male, without yelling or screaming or bullying, unlike other attorneys who are empty suits trying to bully others or impress their clients. When Chris represents me, it is I who sleeps at nights in peace. It is the other side that loses sleep. Again, Chris’s calm and confidence are soothing and contagious. Plus, his ability to do legal research or case laws and rules, are unparalleled. He thinks outside the box and truly is a legal mind that is genius. Many times he took victory out of jaws of defeat. Why am I writing this review? Because Chris saved me from financial ruins many times. I owe him big time and I want to thank him. Thank you Chris. MDC
