In 2013 I got myself in trouble, facing 5 felonies. My saving grace was that I had never even had a speeding ticket before, but unfortunately I hired the WRONG attorney (Not William Weinberg). I paid around $10,000 for the unnamed attorney to show up and stand next to me. That's it! I am not exaggera...ting-I have since found out that he had gone into real estate and practiced law on the side (I should have done a better job selecting an attorney at the time-but if you have gone through something like this before, especially for the 1st time, you know how panicked one can be and not think clearly). I was staying in Orange County for business for a couple of months, within which I managed to get no tan, a $300 dollar jay-walking ticket, and an arrest with felony drug charges! The charges stemmed from my having legally prescribed medications in an unmarked container on my key ring, along with a ...bad attitude (which I should have kept under control) with the arresting officers. At my arraignment, I produced records of the prescriptions, and immediately the DA dropped the charges. I was thrilled. Fast forward a year, and my new landlord asks me about this felony drug arrest in California. Even though the charges were dropped, the arrest was still on my record and looked horrid. Due to quantity, they were felony drug dealing charges.
