While I prefer eliminating or reducing disputes by pro-active Preventative Law policies or practices before they can bloom into a dispute, sometimes that may be unavoidable or the client seeks advice too late to avoid a dispute.
I help a broad range of business clients, with few select individual cases. I help employers implement policies to avoid or defend against problems or disputes before they have a chance to take root. I also defend businesses through negotiation, mediation or litigation, if needed.
I have protected those businesses from disgruntled former employees who seek to extract unwarranted financial gain. I have also helped those victimized by unlawful business practices. In litigation, I have successfully defended businesses and individuals against improper claims, and I have successfully obtained substantial awards and settlements against those who have wronged my clients.
As a civil litigator since 1993, I have helped my clients avoid disputes through Preventative Law practices and policies. When litigation raised its ugly head, I have defended my clients successfully, and on those few select plaintiff cases I have obtain substantial settlements and judgments in cases ranging from physical assaults to unpaid wages and overtime, and discrimination among others.
