Erik Jason Bradford

I hired Mr. Bradford to help me modify my child support order. Both he and his paralegal Tracy were friendly, competent, and very easy to work with. Mr. Bradford was wonderful in court and kept expectations about the outcome of my case realistic. I would absolutely recommend him, and actually have al...ready referred a friend who has a complicated child custody case. Billing was transparent and fair, and his office staff was always available to answer questions.

I was very pleased with Erik Bradford and his staff. I had a initial meeting with Tracy Dempsey whi steered in the right direction to obtain all necessary information to move along with my divorce.(which was a substantial amount of information.) The rest of my communications when I was not in court r...oom appearances was with Hilda Prado who I can’t say enough good about. She always was pleasant to deal with and appeared to me to be very competent. During Court appearances Erik always informed me ahead of time of where and when to meet which always worked out well. I was recommended to Erik from a friend who strongly recommended Erik for the fact that he knew the law inside and out and would do his very best to get my case settled and completed with professionalism and as quickly as possible. I would strongly recommend Erik Bradford and his staff. Divorces are not enjoyable but I did have and continue to have the utmost confidence in Erik and his staff.

I hired attorney Erik Bradford when my custody case became too difficult to handle on my own. My Ex was putting my son in serious danger and I needed the help of an attorney to ensure my son's immediate physical safety. For years I represented myself every time my ex and I had to go back to court to... modify custody/visitation, however this situation was very serious and I wanted help to make sure the court took the matter seriously. My son's mother lied in court, fake cried in mediation and in court, and threaten my son to keep him from disclosing the things that were occurring in her house, but none of that mattered because Mr. Bradford knew how to handle everything and all of my requests were granted by the court. Mr. Bradford is knowledgeable, professional, and clearly explained every step in the process. His paralegal Tracy is great too! She responds quickly to e-mails and calls, always kept me updated and was always professional and kind. Mr. Bradford and Tracy are the best! I am so thankful that I was referred to Erik Bradford! I can not say enough wonderful things about Erik Bradford and his staff. Mr. Bradford assisted me with a very complicated and lengthy divorce. I was referred to and chose Erik because I was told he was fair and reasonable and would not take advantage of a complex situation. Not only was Erik fair, h...e did not allow me to be unfair to myself. When things got scary and I was afraid, he became my advocate and my guide and reminded me that I needed to be fair to myself. Erik and his staff were always accessible to me, returning my calls and answering my questions quickly. If I could give Erik and his staff a million stars, I certainly would.

I had retained Mr. Bradford for a custody case when my previous attorney (who is now on the bench in Riverside County adjudicating family law) referred him to me. As highly as he came recommended to me, I sit here wondering why I bother to wrote a review. ALl I can say is that my experience while I... was promised the simple thing of he would be physically present in my defense, another attorney from the firm arrived who I was not familiar with, nor did I even know who he was, and he did not know me until our case was called and Mr. Bradford was not there - still. He threw a piece of paper into my lap, and told me that "this is what is going to happen" without even discussing a defense that Mr. Bradford and I had worked on for a few meetings prior. Suffice it to say, I lost more custody rights to my child, and I personally cannot ever forgive Mr. Bradford for breaking his promise to me. I only do business with those who's word means something, and I was told he would perform, but he did not. My calls were not returned by the firm, and a positive balance of my retainer was left on account, and that disappeared. I considered reporting him and his conduct to the state bar, but I am finding that it does not matter. Just be careful who you spend your money with. The bottom line? I was not treated like a valued client, and for the money, I require at least that respect from the attorney I retain.
