Erik Jason Bradford

Due to ongoing custody issues, I hired Erik after the dissolution of my marriage. My ex-husband and I both had legal joint/physical custody, but since Erik has become my attorney, that status has changed to me having physical custody. I will say that Family Law Court makes absolutely no logical s...ense at times. As one family law attorney once told me, "Family Law Court is a very broken system." What seems reasonable and logical to you/us, may look and sound the complete opposite in the court room! This is where Erik's expertise comes in: He will NOT allow you say anything he knows is either irrelevant or will make you look bad (telling the truth can easily be used against you). Erik TRULY has his clients and our children's best interest at heart! He is NOT in this for the money! He never over charges me, and the first time we went to court, I was afraid to see the bill, but Erik ONLY charged me for one hour! He scheduled other cases on the same day, so he had us split the bill. Amazing! So if you need a knowledgeable Family Law Attorney who is very experienced, has your and your children's best interest at heart, won't overcharge you, and has a pleasant attitude, Erik is the one to hire; in fact, you can't go wrong with that law firm. I've experienced two other attorneys when Erik wasn't available, and they both were amazing too!

I hired Mr. Bradford to help me modify my child support order. Both he and his paralegal Tracy were friendly, competent, and very easy to work with. Mr. Bradford was wonderful in court and kept expectations about the outcome of my case realistic. I would absolutely recommend him, and actually have al...ready referred a friend who has a complicated child custody case. Billing was transparent and fair, and his office staff was always available to answer questions.

I hired attorney Erik Bradford when my custody case became too difficult to handle on my own. My Ex was putting my son in serious danger and I needed the help of an attorney to ensure my son's immediate physical safety. For years I represented myself every time my ex and I had to go back to court to... modify custody/visitation, however this situation was very serious and I wanted help to make sure the court took the matter seriously. My son's mother lied in court, fake cried in mediation and in court, and threaten my son to keep him from disclosing the things that were occurring in her house, but none of that mattered because Mr. Bradford knew how to handle everything and all of my requests were granted by the court. Mr. Bradford is knowledgeable, professional, and clearly explained every step in the process. His paralegal Tracy is great too! She responds quickly to e-mails and calls, always kept me updated and was always professional and kind. Mr. Bradford and Tracy are the best! I am so thankful that I was referred to Erik Bradford! I highly recommend hiring Erik Bradford for your family law matters.

I had retained Mr. Bradford for a custody case when my previous attorney (who is now on the bench in Riverside County adjudicating family law) referred him to me. As highly as he came recommended to me, I sit here wondering why I bother to wrote a review. ALl I can say is that my experience while I... was promised the simple thing of he would be physically present in my defense, another attorney from the firm arrived who I was not familiar with, nor did I even know who he was, and he did not know me until our case was called and Mr. Bradford was not there - still. He threw a piece of paper into my lap, and told me that "this is what is going to happen" without even discussing a defense that Mr. Bradford and I had worked on for a few meetings prior. Suffice it to say, I lost more custody rights to my child, and I personally cannot ever forgive Mr. Bradford for breaking his promise to me. I only do business with those who's word means something, and I was told he would perform, but he did not. My calls were not returned by the firm, and a positive balance of my retainer was left on account, and that disappeared. I considered reporting him and his conduct to the state bar, but I am finding that it does not matter. Just be careful who you spend your money with. The bottom line? I was not treated like a valued client, and for the money, I require at least that respect from the attorney I retain.
