After receiving several community recommendations for this firm, I hired them to help with a custody and child support case. Although an order was granted, there was still a lot of conflict with the OP which to additional filings and requests. I was constantly having to make corrections to documents ...prepared by the office and even complained about the quality of work. I was initially told that having an attorney is really a luxury; based on the $12K that was spent in approximately 6 months that seems true however not based on the service as I was constantly having to follow up and still did not have a firm grasp on what was going on in the case.

This firm doesnt have their clients best interest in mind or maybe only mine. I have been working with this firm for 2 years never even represented me in court. Oh that's rite my significant other told the firm I was ok with postponing a court date which I was not ok with, next thing you know 2100.00... postponed. Gave opposing counsel advise on Riverside County law cause they usually work the San Diego area. 8-12 dollars roughly never wanted to give a total as to my statement of monies paid. 2 weeks before court I was threatened for 1850.00 or firm would release representing me. This firm is probably great if you dont have or run into money troubles. I dont feel 8- 12 thousand is asking for as your firm says a non profit. I see your firm as opportunists during Covid. Hope I can save 1 person from wasting money on your firm . See other review from 2014 same circumstances. Leave you stranded before court.

I am very pleased with my experience working with Singleton Smith Law Office! I switched to them midway through my divorce and they dove right in to my case! I always felt like a valued customer and really appreciated their responsiveness! I rarely worked directly with an attorney which helped keeped... costs down. My paralegal was Danielle and she was great! They kept me out of court and pushed to finalize my divorce which was previously dragging on an on! My divorce is final but I will definitely reach back out to them should I need any family law help in the future!

I wish I had gotten in touch with Singleton Smith Law Offices sooner. My previous attorney wasn't doing anything with my divorce, just waiting for the next hearing, then telling me he couldn't come to it and was sending in a substitute--I wasted a ton of money thinking it was how every attorney hand...led things, and also, I was not totally functional at the time, suffering from severe depression and anxiety. At Singleton Smith, everyone in the office is familiar with EVERY CASE. THEY CARE!!! The paralegal assigned to my case, Kendra Maxwell, is very knowledgeable, organized, friendly, and professional, (she's the greatest!), and attorneys Diane Singleton Smith and Kitty Baker have helped me in ways I cannot detail here until after my court hearing. Diane is a genius!! I am completely confident to go to court next week with Attorney Baker and know that everyone in the office has my back. They are all very smart and super competent and strategic. Also, their charges are VERY reasonable. I recommend them without hesitation.

I thought she was my friend - she advertises her self to our wine club...as "the best attorney" She took my case knowing my situation and my finances. When after 2 yrs. of battling in my divorce and running up attorney fees, she drops me days before trial...when I needed her the most! saying "you ca...n't afford me". Leaving me with 20k in fees and turning me over to collections. I finished my case alone and broke, having given her $15K. Her lack of experience was evident in that my Ex's attorney completely out maneuvered her. Beware- she is no friend- and not a good attorney.
