Biography
President of the State Bar of California 2005-2006 (over 200,000 lawyers), named a Superlawyer for over a decade with the highest of peer and client ratings. Focus on personal injury and wrongful death cases throughout career; founder and member of many organizations that train other lawyers and assist other lawyers and judges in the law. The Reader's Digest did a story on this man and his family in 1996 relative to his recovery from alcoholism, his struggles (including his family and discipline with the Sate Bar that he later lead as its President), and his rise from the ashes.

He has been married to his wife for over 37 years, and they have 3 adult children.
