Michael Anthony Razo

When I was referred to Mr. Razo by a coworker, I was told he was fair, ethical, and thorough. I immediately found that to be true. Mr. Razo was honest with me the entire time. He always gave me expectations, but he also advised me of the reality and possible outcomes. Mr. Razo did not promise me anyt...hing, but his full effort to help me fight for joint custody of my children. I had been divorced for 5 years and had partial custody of my two kids with my ex having primary custody. My Ex-wife moved our children over an hour away from me causing turmoil and hardship for the children. Over the years of fighting for more custody, I was bullied and pushed to back down by my exes lawyer. My job and schedule was constantly used against me since I work 12 hours shifts. Mr. Razo assured me that fathers are equal and we can have equal time and custody of our children. Mr. Razo assisted me in having my ex move back to a central location where we can live in the same town, and I was awarded joint Legal and Physical Custody with the equal time share that I requested with no restrictions due to my work schedule. I could not be happier with Mr. Razo's work. He truly made it his goal to help me win the case, but did so in an ethical way that allowed my ex and I to maintain a good relationship. In December of 2017 I found myself in need of an attorney to help me gain visitation of my two grandsons. The office staff at BRL is always friendly and professional. My e-mails and phone calls were always promptly answered. These things are so valuable when you’re in the middle of an emotional and difficult time. My case was complicated and a difficult win. I went to Mike Razo after I was threatened by my ex wife's attorney, and Mike instantly assured me of my rights. Mike was honest about costs and what we could reasonably expect to accomplish in court. He never lied to me or attempted to nickel and dime me, which previous lawyers had done until I coul...d no longer sustain my efforts in court. Mike collaborated with me and guided me in my efforts to protect my child, and the result were better than I could have reasonably expected. I received full custody of my son after a 12 year battle with unreasonable opposition. I am not a fan of lawyers, and I was not overly anxious to seek out legal assistance due to a few past experiences that had left a bad taste in my mouth. He didn't attempt to paint an overly optimistic picture and unwittingly lead me down the primrose path. He spoke to me openly and honestly about the good and the bad that might happen regarding each and every action I endorsed. He was readily available when I had questions or concerns, and I undoubtedly spoke more with him directly than I did with any legal assistant or secretary. Mike Razo has easily accomplished more in the past two months than any lawyer had previously accomplished for me in the past 12 years. I am very pleased and impressed with the service I received from this firm and particularly my amazing attorney Michael Razo!! He was so prepared during the trial that he put opposing counsel to shame. He walked me through every question beforehand so that I went into court confident, relaxed and pre...pared. I always felt informed and part of the process. Mr. Razo helped me feel strong during one of the most difficult times of my life. It was evident that he truly cared about my case. His completion of written discovery before the trial was so thorough that he left no stone unturned. I almost felt bad for my ex with all of the information Mr Razo gathered. Somehow with all of this success my overall fees were still only ⅓ of what my ex husband’s attorney had charged him. The final judgement was 100% in my favor. Mr Razo was wonderful to work with and made it as painless as possible. He helped me to see all possible scenarios both short and long term and help me come up with the bakers solution for my kids and I. I had heard that many lawyers drag the process out to stack their fees, but Mr Razo was not lik...e that at all. I would highly recommend using him!!!
