Michael Anthony Razo

I hired Michael Razo to be my attorney in my divorce case starting in August 2016. I know that everybody has the assumption that their divorce case may have been very difficult and extreme. Mine was nothing short of that to say the least. At the time in August 2016 my now ex-wife, left the house a...nd was not speaking to me and took our then 15 year old daughter with her and was not allowing me to see her or talk to her at all. Many harsh allegations were being made against me. At the time my situation looked very bleak. My ex-wife was not speaking to me at all and I was unable to see or speak with my fifteen-year-old daughter for 6 months. My divorce case was a unusual difficult one. Much more difficult than the average so I was told by counselors child protective services and the mediator as well as the judge. I was heartbroken and in very much distressed through most of the first year of the divorce process. My family had been torn apart and I was unable to speak or see my very much love daughter. Thanks to the expertise Mr. Razo , we began a loan challenging Journey to get my daughter back into my custody and out of a very dangerous situation. This task was not an easy one to communicate to the judge, counselors and Social Services. Thanks to Mr. Razo and being an experienced attorney and knowing the best directions to go and the best professionals to go to to help my situation as far as court order counseling for my daughter and other professionals that could help my case. He knew the best people to go to. This was a very vital part of my case that allowed me to get custody 100% of my daughter. Mr. Razo is a very professional attorney, which I witnessed him taking a very difficult case and presenting the matter in front of the court in a manner that clarified exactly what was going on and how my case should be ruled in order to receive a full custody of my daughter. Mr. Razo is also a very compassionate attorney. He believes in Family Values and he understood my heartbreak and the stress that I was under. He was always available for any questions that I had and explained everything in great detail so I could understand. Mr. Razo was excellent in returning phone calls in a timely manner and presenting the information in a clear way so that I understood whatever needed to be accomplished. Mr. Razo was also able to negotiate my financial situation to the best possible scenario that would work for me. Although my divorce was an expensive one, it could have been worse if we had gone to trial and I could have had things lingering in the balance for a long time. However we were able to negotiate an agreement that would allow me to pay her out and keep the house at a price that I was able to move on with my life. Mr. Razo is an excellent attorney he knows his trade, he knows other professionals that could help, such as counselors in the area of Riverside and he knows the law and will give you the best sound advice for your situation. He is not an attorney that will lead you down a rabbit Trail. He is focused on what is best for you and your family. Divorce is tragic and I I wish no one had to go through it. I am very pleased and impressed with the service I received from this firm and particularly my amazing attorney Michael Razo!! He was so prepared during the trial that he put opposing counsel to shame. He walked me through every question beforehand so that I went into court confident, relaxed and pre...pared. I always felt informed and part of the process. Mr. Razo helped me feel strong during one of the most difficult times of my life. It was evident that he truly cared about my case. His completion of written discovery before the trial was so thorough that he left no stone unturned. I almost felt bad for my ex with all of the information Mr Razo gathered. My spousal support was permanently ordered and significantly raised from the temporary order. My child support also increased from the temporary order. In addition, I was awarded all of my attorney fees to be paid for by my ex husband. Somehow with all of this success my overall fees were still only ⅓ of what my ex husband’s attorney had charged him. The final judgement was 100% in my favor. Hiring Michael Razo was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I can’t recommend him enough.

I hired this firm in December 2013 while I was in a treatment center getting help. Bratton Law Office took on my case, even though the odds were stacked against me. They had a plan and it was my responsibility to follow all directions from them and do my part to ensure we had a fighting chance. I h...ad to live with my ex so I could stay with my children, stay sober and attend meetings. I did everything that was recommended and after 2 years, with still no divorce, I was able to move out and had temporary 50/50 custody of my children. Michael Razo stepped in at this point and attended all hearings with me and continued with the strategic plan that was initiated from the beginning. He kind, considerate and respectful even when I became frustrated and complained often that the situation was ridiculous. He negotiated a fair settlement with his attorney in September 2016, which my ex grudgingly agreed with. Then in December, the ex decided it wasn’t a fair settlement and fired his attorney, putting us back at ground zero. Through all of this, Mr. Razo helped me remain calm and patient through the process. In March 2017, I was diagnosed with cancer and Mr. Razo was so compassionate and even checked on me just to see how I was doing. I don’t know, but that doesn’t seem like a “normal” attorney thing to do. My ex eventually hired a different attorney and Mr. Razo worked cooperatively with him to eventually get my ex to agree to the initial settlement, which was fair (you know it’s fair when neither party is happy). So, after 4-1/2 years of nonsense, I’m happy to say that I am now divorced. I am thankful for Mr. Razo and Bratton Family Law for their patience, compassion, professionalism and knowledge. They didn’t give up on me and helped me have a life with my children that I wouldn’t have had without their assistance.

Mr. Razo helped me during a hard time in my life. I am a single mom of 4 young boys who recently divorced.
