David Harvey Heisler

I hired David to handle a fairly straight forward custody case. His initial consultation left me feeling good about my choice. However soon after I agreed to pay everything changed. They did not follow up with me ever. They seriously did not return one phone call of mine. He seemed very arro...gant and disengaged. They appear way to busy and should not be accepting new clients. His staff is rude and he scapegoats them for every failure. If you do hire him stay on top of them and demand results. I ended up hiring a less expensive, less known attorney and my case was wrapped up in a few weeks.

Mr. Heisler is a lazy attorney. When I first hired him for my divorce, he promised he would always keep me informed, which he NEVER did. Four years ago, he fired me as a client because I had spoken in court stating facts he refused to present. The judge subsequently ruled in my favor although she was... about to rule in favor of my ex-wife. The reason Mr. Heisler refused to present these facts was he stated they were irrelevant. Obviously the judge did not have the same opinion. Mr. Heisler withdrew just as I needed representation the most although I found that arguing the case myself was preferable to having a bad lawyer. Today I found out that he had not filed a withdrawal with the court nor did he inform me that my ex-wife had filed a new petition to have me pay her attorney fees. His negligence hamstrings me since I cannot get help from legal aide or even hire another lawyer until he files the withdrawal with the court. I called his office today and was told that they do not file a withdrawal or a substitution of attorney unless requested. It's been four years and he abandoned me. Why the delay?

David Heisler and his office are extremely unprofessional. Vergie-Rude!!! Brandy unprofessional and incompetent. Every time I went to court Mr. Heisler was late! Then when he arrived he would asked me to give him a recap of why we were here. In the court room he was contently corrected by the judge o...n grammar. During the court proceedings he wrote on a piece of paper "your going to lose" my response was "you are the won that lost, I hired you to win not lose" over 10k I will never see again. Then he sent me a bill with additional charges of 2500.00. Reading over a confusing itemized invoice he charge me for going to pick up court document that I had retrieved myself and delivered to his office, This guy is just in it for the buck and then tries to take more when your case is over. Move on to another that will get you somewhere.

This attorney will take your money and do nothing to protect you and your family. He is ALWAYS late to the courthouse and will charge you for driving/walking time! Comes Unprepared! Unprofessional that goes for his staff as well. His secretaries are quick to call and ask for payments but never put... the effort to do the paperwork correctly. Conclusion David H. Heisler = Headache!! Money and Time Lost!

Highly recommended in all possible ways. I very rarely take time out to write a review but in the case of Mr. Heisler the integrity, diligence and skill he brings to his profession truly merit such a review. My personal case has involved several attorneys and has spanned several years. I can say I wa...s frustrated, depressed and exhausted not to mention feeling distrustful of legal representation when I first met with Mr. Heisler. In all honestly I can say that after placing my trust in Mr. Heisler all aspects of my life improved dramatically. Even though he is very busy, at all times Mr. Heisler and his outstanding staff treated me as if my case was of the greatest importance, providing personal attention and support when I most needed it. Mr. Heisler’s prowess in the courtroom and his command of the intricacies of my case was to say the least impressive. Now with one of the worst times of my life behind me I can begin to look to the future for my son and I and I owe that in large part to the excellent representation I received from Mr. Heisler. Again highly recommended!
