She lied from the beginning in telling me that I could secure CA jurisdiction when it was clear under the law that AZ had jurisdiction but she took my money and wasted my time anyway. Then she tried to collect for the balance when the judge sent the case to AZ which was clearly where it should have b...een all along. She made only one court appearance and even then when the judge called her name in my case, she was so busy texting on her phone that she didn't hear and the judge had to loudly repeat herself. Ms. Dorodo then jumped and got up. All other appearances were made by someone else. She hardly answered the phone, hardly returned phone calls or emails. Now I just found out I have a collection on my credit for a ridiculous amount from some collection agency I've never heard from!!?? She has my current address so there's no excuse! This attorney needs to be reported and sued!

Amanda has since married and is now practicing as Amanda Dorado. I would suggest looking elsewhere unless you only have the most basic legal issue. I would characterize my experience as lackluster. I had to do do the negotiation and footwork myself and hire another attorney to have my legal questions... explained. Amanda has an apparent distaste for keeping clients apprised of progress. Progress is absent unless pressed. Amanda is often unprepared or has no recollection of the present matter at hand. There were billing issues where I was charged for emails not received and then not credited back. The most glaring issue was advice Amanda gave regarding my ex-wife's housing arrangements costing thousands in monthly spousal support that I now have to pay another attorney to help correct. Best to avoid. Local attorney's are aware of her issues and will roll their eyes when you ask about her. Take my advice avoid if at all possible. I didn't and I regret it deeply.
