These other reviews have GOT to be lies because James Tritt is hands down the WORST attorney I've ever dealt with, and I've had plenty. Accessible? Laughable!!! I've been contacting his office, emailing non stop for TWO weeks about my child. Ghost. He does NOTHING to fight for his clients... i hav...ent seen my OWN CHILD in EIGHT MONTHS!!! and its majorly due to his complete ineptitude and negligence. He won't push back on ANYTHING..he wont file anything, he wont object to anything, despite demands for testimony he wont subpeona anybody...he wont meet and confer with me...the agency or opposing side. He has done ZERO of his own investigating and I mean ZERO. He ignores emails, calls, provides zero updates he wint even provide minute orders and makes false promises he never keeps. Most important...ive watched him lie in open court. My son is stuck in a group home where he's being sexually, physically, and psychologically abused and he doesn't belong there, but Tritt does zero to get him out or protect him. He's lazy, unprofessional, and his ego from having parents in the legal field overrides any real effort or logic. A good friend was also his client and has the exact same complaints...no communication, no advocacy, total inaction. We both filed multiple complaints with the California State Bar; I had him under investigation TWICE. Each time he suddenly acts like he wants to work, so I dropped it then the silence starts again. The court even ORDERED him to communicate with me. Why wasn't HE held in contempt? Theyre all too worried im recording their hearings to do anything at ALLL. I wonder why that is? Heck I WISH ive actually recorded hearings so the world c9uld see the absolute fraud family court is. Unfortunately I have not so you'll just have to take my word dor it. Growing up with family court attorney parents doesn't make you a good dependency lawyer. Until he grows the balls to stand up to corruption instead of being part of it, he'll stay one of the worst. He collects federal funds while doing who knows what... I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy. Avoid at all costs.
