We adopted a child who was born outside the country. Once we began with the immigration process, nobody wanted to take our case. Apparently we had skipped certain procedures in the adoption process. My attorney (Tiffany E. Markee) took our case. She reviewed the adoption documents, referred us to... another attorney that helped us amend the adoption. Once the adoption paperwork was in order, she helped us get the DACA for our child while we were waiting for the case to be processed by the immigration office. When we received our appointment for the interview, she walked us through all the paperwork and explained all the documents and appointments we had to attend prior to the appointment. My wife and I have been very blessed to have Tifany Markee guide us through this very complex process of adopting a child from a non-Hague country.
