I engaged Tifany Markee on the refiling of i-130 and i-485 for my adopted daughter who is not a US citizen. Our previous petition and application was denied after a long wait of more than two years because my attorney was not familiar with the requirement for our type of case. An i-130 petition for a...n adopted child from a Hague convention country is a very complicated matter and many immigration attorneys are simply not trained for it. She provided specific clauses to be included. I was ready to wait for another two long years. But three months later after refiling, we received a RFE notice. Tifany sent in the amended adoption order and a week later, we received the approval notice for i-130. It took me a few weeks to take my daughter to the medical exam required by CIS due to COVID-19. A week after we sent in the medical form i-693 and soon received the approval notice for i-485. The green card arrived several days later. A great attorney makes a difference.
