I was very pleased how Alisha Wood handled my case. It was my first arrest for a DUI and it was a very stressful few days leading up to my meeting with Alisha Wood and the rest of the Casey and Wood team. I was able to explain exactly what happened to me on the evening of my incident so they could gi...ve me an accurate assessment of the potential outcomes. Due to the fact that it was my first offense and my BAC was relatively low(but still above the legal driving limit), they said that there was a possibility for a the judge to rule it down to a wet reckless charge. The key with the entire team was to be proactive on my end so if any documentation or other information was needed from me, I had to be sure to be prompt. This in turn helped them move the case along and meet court and DMV hearings. Alisha specifically put me at ease when I needed to meet in their office to give a recorded statement to my car insurance company regarding the events that led to the arrest. Alisha was there every step of the way to guide me in talking to the adjuster. The judge ruled my case to be a wet reckless. Although I still have to attend DUI classes and pay lesser court fees, I am not responsible for any community service hours. I was very pleased with the Alisha, as well as the entire team at Casey and Wood. Although, I do not wish this process on anyone, I do know that it is a reality and I would highly recommend them if I ever find a friend or family member that has made a poor decision like myself and needs an attorney. In addition, everyone on the team was prompt with me when I sent an email or called them. And they had no problems answering questions or repeating themselves when I was in doubt.

I was astonished at the fluidity of their communication and they made me feel as relaxed and calm as possible with the severity of the charges I was facing. Ultimately, they were able to work a plea deal with the prosecution and obtain a Wet and Reckless charge, with all other charges dropped - an amazing outcome considering the evidence the prosecution had against me. Anytime I called or sent an email I received a reply that same day, usually within an hour or so. Basically once I obtained the services of Casey and Wood, I felt much more at ease with the entire situation and literally didn't have to do anything as far as any work on the case. When any information was needed, someone from the firm would call or email weeks in advance to give me ample time to get the proper documentation in their possession. Now that we got the best possible result and wrapped everything up in court, they still answer all my questions whenever reach out and are focusing on getting the Wet and Reckless expunged from my record within the next year or two. The level of commitment Alisha and team show really is refreshing this day in age when it seems like most people are just treated as a case number, I feel like they truly care about me and have my best interest at heart at all times, I am person to Alisha and Cole, not just a case number.
