Well worth the price

Mr. Holmes and his staff were instrumental in getting my wife and I married. When I was first considering using a lawyer for the K-1 process, I did some homework. I spoke with Mr. Holmes and found out that many of the websites offering services for seemingly low prices were only capable of doing a sm...all portion of the work. On the other hand, his firm took us from beginning to end, dotting all the i's and crossing all the t's. The immigration process is a long, complicated, and often frustrating process, but they took the worry out of the equation and gave us peace of mind. I can't imagine going through this on my own. We highly recommend their services.

Excellent Service, Highly Reliable, Friendly, Polite - Would (and did) hire again.

We decided to hire LRH's office to help us with a marriage visa process (immigration visa - foreigner marries a US citizen). I'm an European who was dating an American for a year online, then spent another year flying to see him on visitors visa, back and forth - eventually this became very stressf...ul on us, not being able to see each other, and we decided to get married since we couldn't be separated for so long. We called several offices at last minute and read their websites, but Holmes' office stood out the most. His website was easy to understand while being informative, they had a lot of experience dealing with marriage visas, and he married a foreign woman himself. When we called his office, not only the hour long (and then some) consultation was free, he was very helpful answering our questions and educating us on the process, offering many possibilities and options on how to do it right (K1 or K3, we went with the first one because that would work better for us), and overally being very understanding and pleasant. Everything was done online from then (paying, communication, forms to fill out, scanned documents, etc) except some stuff we had to send through regular mail or in some emergencies, calling the office. The first person that was assigned to our case was Fatima (who retired after a while, being replaced by Diana Nunez, who also worked on our later Adjustment of Status case). Both ladies were nice, explaining anything we asked, and the paperwork and guidelines they sent us through email to fill on the computer or to print up were good quality, and the instructions and guidelines the office has sent us were written in a manner that prepared us ahead without any complications. Normally this process would have taken less than 4 months, but we took a whole year, mainly because the first 4 months, me and my husband were very stressed out from being separated overseas, worried about the case itself, so we barely did any paperwork at first and just focused on us and work. The lawyers were very understanding and patient with us at the time, and eventually we pulled it off. Both cases (K1 and Adjustment of Status) went smoothly without any mistakes, as the lawyers would always go over our forms to make sure we didn't make any mistakes or fill out something wrong (which would happen once in a while, the USCIS paperwork can be very confusing to a regular person), and would correct it before sending it off. They have prepared us for every single step of the way, so we never felt left in the dark or overwhelmed or unprepared. The only qualm that we might have that once in a while they would not answer our emails after the 24 hour time frame they normally give, and once in a while when calling the office (when we needed an answer right away that did not come through in the e-mail), the lawyer would be unavailable or we would be put on hold for few long minutes, or would not call back as promised. I am however able to not dwell on it, as within a day we'd get in touch and solve whatever we needed to solve, and that assured us they cared about their clients (plus I understand they have many clients and were communicating with them when we called - that just means they are good if they're always busy) . Both the secretary doing the calls and the lawyer, once reached, were pleasant, informative, and would explain as to why they were "absent". I remember once it was something urgent about our case, and Diana was at home sick, and even then she allowed us to call her home phone and spent at least 30 minutes on the phone and a computer overlooking our paperwork. She could have just told us she wasn't available, but the fact she pushed herself to do it on her day off speaks volumes to us. If it wasn't for LRH, (obviously they were successful with our case and we're happily married now, I'm able to work and study in the US by his side, and we have a future together), none of this would be possible. Thank you LRH!
