I hired the firm of Lawrence Holmes in December of 2015 in order to secure a K1 visa for my fiancee who lived in the Ukraine. I was told at the time that It would take 6 to 12 months depending upon the timeliness of documentation and the US Immigration workload. Ultimately I was assigned a lawyer w...ithin the firm named Melanie Ramos. The visa process is long and tedious because of the required documentation. Ms. Ramos gave us a lot of support and guidance in collecting documentation here in the US and also in the Ukraine. Most importantly for us, we did hit some road bumps with the process during the approval phase with US Customs and with the US Embassy in Kiev. Ms. Ramos navigated us through the challenges with great patience and skill. In the end we secured the K1 visa in early December of 2017. I am convinced that had I not chosen this firm to represent us, we would have failed to secure the visa. It is important for me to also acknowledge that their fees were very reasonable and never once did they suggest additional fees because of the extra effort required.
