Maria took my phone call, and information and set up an appointment for the next day. Met with Maria and Mr. Teperson and hired him as my lawyer. I was going through the Workers Compensation system for a work injury and trusted the insurance company would treat me right. When they started to treat me... unfairly, I needed a lawyer to help me. Once Mr. Teperson took my case good things started happening right away. I was sent to a doctor of my choice, I started receiving my WC checks which had been stopped, and my surgeries, medications, treatments and eventual settlement were handled quickly and professionally. I went to Mr. Teperson after a vehicle struck me while I was working. The insurance admitted the injury but sent me to the worst doctor I could have imagined. He gpt me a great doctor and got the insurance company to actually pay ...for my surgeries and provide benefits for the year and a half I was recovering. When I first meet Josh he looked like he had just partied late into the previous night. I should have know then but he was a smooth talker and I figured that in of itself would work to my benefit. I am such a moron. That was the first and last time I ever saw him. After that it was only his secre...tary that I spoke with and that was only after I called her. They never called me with any updates, I had to call them. I was sent to a doctor hours away which was a huge nuisance and once I got there they told me I had to reschedule. I wish I would have looked up reviews on lawyers before I made my decision but at least you are. Look elsewhere, there are too many good lawyers in this city to let this guy handle your case.

After 3 attorneys and now my husband also in need of a work comp attorney we finally landed in Mr. Teperson's office. Maria, his secretary took our initial call. I have called almost every attorney in S.D. and Maria was the first and only secretary that actually listened...she didn't interruptme rude...ly like the others had, she just patiently listened. She was so caring, I genuinely felt like she really cared. That meant the world to me after dealing with a million other lawyers who frankly just didn't care. I was so impressed with Mr. Teperson that after my husband signed him on as his attorney I decided to fire my other attorney and sign my case up with Mr. Teperson too.
