Biography
Attorney Aziz J. Asmar has faced the challenges and reaped the rewards of fleeing to America from his war-torn country of Iraq. His journey, and the desire to better the lives of others, convinced Mr. Asmar to seek a profession helping people who have escaped various hardships to find peace and freedom. As such, becoming an immigration attorney came naturally to Mr. Asmar, and it soon became his passion.

Unfair and unprofessional
I called Mr. Aziz for consultation regarding an asylum case. I paid him 200$ for thirty minutes consultation. I talked to him over the phone, I told him that I have prosecution case in the past. Aziz told me "don't worry, you are Iraqi and they consider that Iraqis are living in fear"!! which means...

Replied last August 20, 2016I regret you were not satisfied with the consultation and I want to clarify some points to make sure that we have understood each other. In my 13 years of working with the Iraqi asylum community, and based on the types of cases we've filed and the results we've gotten, Iraqis generally have very good asylum claims, in large part because of how bad the situation is in Iraq. That is an honest and accurate assessment based on hard numbers. I have never guaranteed a result in any case, let alone made a statement that merely being Iraqi will get you approved for asylum. I'll be more than happy to speak to you again to clarify these issues. Either way, I wish you the best of luck moving forward.
