A client granted asylum in the United States returned to him country of claimed persecution to take care of his ill father. More than a year later, the situation in his country takes a turn for the wo ... rse and he contacts our office to tell us he wants to return. We were able to get him back in within about 6 months, by way of a humanitarian parole. He has since applied for his green card and is waiting to receive it.
