We lost our case today. After recommendation after recommendation from local professionals, we chose Hoffman &Forde and more specifically Stefan Seper, who is in fact a Realtor, too. We should have requested another lawyer. As CA real estate re-habbers we figured we had the upper hand, that we would ...win without a hitch. Little did we know that our case would get transferred to another attorney ( since our old one left the firm), that he would be right out of law school (literally), or that most if his life would be in a completely different profession up till now. This is not an eviction attorney! Get yourself proper representation. Not a newbie. We lost and the defendant wasn't even represented by counsel!! How much easier could it get?!! Has literally no negotiation skills. He thinks because he says "final offer" that his words contain merit and power. We were literally laughed out of the courtroom. So embarrassing.
