Excellent customer service

I was referred to Marty by a co-worker. I needed an attorney for an injury that I suffered because of someone's negligence. Marty was very knowledgable and he always kept me informed about the status of my case. I appreciated how he made me feel important, he always seemed to have time to speak with ...me and thoroughly answer all my questions. This period in my life was traumatizing and he definitely helped me to feel stable and secure again.

Very helpful

I worked with Marty on an employment issue. He was very responsive and professional. Returned my calls in a timely manner and showed genuine concern. Highly recommended.

Great Lawyer

Incredible Lawyer with a down home style!

My experience with Marty Schmidt began as a result of terrible circumstances. My wife and I were seriously injured in an automobile accident, which was not our fault, and not only was I the proud owner of a wrecked car, but things that used to be unpleasant, like yard work and my normal chores, had ...become unbearably painful. On top of it all, I was getting low-balled by my insurance company. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, they started acting like I was the bad guy. I hired Marty with Golden State Law and he was simply amazing. I always met directly with Marty and all of my phone calls and communication was always directly with my attorney, instead of a paralegal or a case manager. He was extremely professional, and once he was on the scene, things started to get much better$ Marty not only referred my wife to an expert for her knee, but the doctor treated her and waited for his payment when the case settled, even though we do not have medical insurance. I am very impressed with the service we received hence the review. Case is settled and we were very happy with the outcome as well as the process.

Marty really cares!

When my daughter was hit by a utility truck on her bike, I was notified by the police and met her at the hospital. I was immediately being harassed by an attorney from the utility company to sign some documents. I felt pressured and I was referred to Marty at Golden State Law Group. We didn't want... to hire a lawyer but we felt unprotected so Marty met us at the hospital. We signed up and when my daughter was released from the hospital, he referred us to a head injury specialist. We had been treating for almost a year, when she was finally released from medical care. She had lost her job in the process, and was having a hard time paying her rent and other bills. The utility company offered us 10k for everything, which was a joke. I think our medical bills were about 75k at the time. We finally settled the case in the high six figure range (not supposed to say how much) and I can honestly say that Marty was a blessing! He did not let us get pushed around one time! In fact, we never had a to pay a penny for any of the medical treatments or to Marty ever. He earned every dollar of that settlement and I don't think anyone else could have done a better job for us! He was always professional, courteous, and helpful! He referred us to the top doctors, and always returned our calls. I would recommend him to anyone who has been injured in any type of accident!
