Kristine Carole Blagof

Kristine is so awesome. We were in the middle of an extremely difficult situation with my ex and she helped us through all of it. I never felt like I was working with an attorney that had anything other than my best interest at heart and the best interest of my children. She met with us frequently... and was available to answer all of our questions, as they came up. I always felt welcome to reach out to her. One of the best things I can say is that she never told us what we "wanted" to hear, she always told us what we "needed" to hear and was honest with us about the process as well as potential outcomes - I've worked with other attorney's in the past and this was not the case. I strongly recommend Kristine for anyone needing support with family matters.

I hired Kristine on a child custody matter that should've been relatively easy, but has since become complicated and has now spiraled into a very difficult to handle case (which I'm still dealing with, unfortunately). I worked with Kristine a few years ago. It was my first time hiring an attorney so ...I didn't know what to expect, aside from word of mouth experiences from people I know. The consultation went great and I felt like she truly cared about my case; so far as to fully empathize with the indignation from the opposing party's actions. She seemed passionate about my situation so I hired her, but things went down hill from there - emails and calls were not returned, she was always unavailable due to being away, my questions went unanswered, I wasn't kept in the loop regarding the happenings in my case, etc. I received no assistance or counsel prior to my mediation appointment and later received none prior to my hearing as well. We were steamrolled in court without putting up a fight. I'm a reasonable person with reasonable expectations, but was left with too much to be desired by Kristine's performance with my case. After my hearing, I essentially received an empathetic shrug and that was it. In hindsight, I regret the way my case was handled. Unfortunately with family law matters, there is no turning back and because of a summation of negligence in the matter at the time and not having handled the case in the best way, I'm still dealing with a highly conflictive, stressful situation that has only gotten worse. Aside from what I spoke of above, her office does have its pros. Her legal assistant is very nice and professional, and her billing was also reasonable.

Kristine helped me through a very difficult time. My husband had filed for divorce in 2012 after having abused me for six years. I stayed with him until then because I thought this was love. I was emotionally and mentally destroyed. Kristine helped me over the next year to get a fair settlement. I th...ink my ex's attorney was really aggressive but she stood her ground. I got the alimony I was owed. Over the years when I have need to refer back to her she has always been receptive of hearing from me. Last year there was an unexpected alimony settlement as per the separation agreement from 2013 and because I was no longer looking through foggy glasses I was able to see firsthand how solid her work for me has been. I'm sure I've been emotional with her in the past and gotten angry at times, but she has always dealt with me in a professional manner. I highly recommend working with Kristine. Her assistant is amazing too.
