Katie Susan Knell

Ms. Katie Knell received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Management/Human Resources Management, from California State University Stanislaus in 2009. Ms. Knell graduated summa cum laude and completed her undergraduate degree in just three years. While at Stanislaus, Ms. Knell was vice president of the Society for Human Resources Management from 2007-2009, competed on both the State and Regional Championship HR Games Team for the University in 2008 and received the Academic Excellence Award from the College of Business Administration. She was both a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi.

Ms. Knell earned her Juris Doctor Degree in April 2012 from the California Western School of Law. While in law school on a Creative Problem Solving Scholarship (2009-2012), Ms. Knell was a member of the Lawyers Club and served as the Social Chair for Phi Alpha Delta. She is a Certified Westlaw Researcher and served as a Research Assistant to Professor Leslie P. Wallace in researching case law and editing text to update 15 Mo. Prac. Civil Rules Practice (Rules 41-55) §§ 41. (4th ed. 2012)(hardbound volume)(forthcoming). 

Ms. Knell is an avid runner and completed the 2010 Nike Women’s Marathon. Ms. Knell is licensed to practice law in the state of California and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Central Districts. Ms. Knell is a member of the State Bar of California and the San Diego County Bar Association.
