Biography
Tess M. Reutzel graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She obtained her juris doctor (cum laude) from California Western School of Law, where she was a recipient of the Dean's Merit Scholarship for Ethnic and Cultural Diversity and a member of the Pro Bono Honor's Society.
Ms. Reutzel has a special interest in protecting victims of domestic violence, and has volunteered extensive time at the YWCA domestic violence legal clinic.
Ms. Reutzel is dedicated to providing cost-effective legal representation to those effected by dissolution. Her practice is 100 percent devoted to family law cases such as divorce, custody and visitation, and child and spousal support, so her attention is fully focused on this field. Ms. Reutzel also teaches a collegiate-level class covering the American Constitution.
Ms. Reutzel’s psychology training provides her with insight and a deep understanding of the emotional-toll divorce has upon the parties and the children involved, and she therefore excels in managing high-conflict cases.
