At first I thought that he was going to mess up in my case because he looked young. But I was wrong at the end he helped me in all my concerns and explained all my doubts.

When I found myself in the unfortunate situation of having to defend myself against a lawsuit, I hired Rudy Ruiz-Velasco as my attorney and have since been extremely happy that I did. I interviewed and spoke on the phone with a number of attorneys - all seemed adequate, I suppose, but I always left wanting something more. The first time I talked to Rudy on the phone, I knew I had found my attorney. He had the right attitude and from the very beginning I knew he would stand firmly in my court. Each subsequent conversation and meeting over the 9 months until the successful outcome of my case provided more and more proof that I had made the right choice.
Rudy was knowledgeable, personable (not at all arrogant), listened and responded to my needs and concerns to my complete satisfaction, offered invaluable information allowing me to make the best decisions for my circumstance, and all round made a very stressful ordeal a whole lot easier to get through. His billing was fair and reasonable, he was patient and calm (even as I was going crazy), and persistent and thorough in taking the best care with my case. When we agreed to resolve the dispute in an arbitration hearing with each party representing themselves without counsel, Rudy took all the care needed to prepare me and my witnesses for prevailing on the big day - which I did! And as part of the agreement to arbitration, Rudy made it certain that if I prevailed I was entitled to recover all my attorney and court fees!
I would highly recommend Rudy and the Ruiz-Velasco Law Firm for attorney services.

I contacted Rudy in late August regarding my bankruptcy filing. I was facing a pending lawsuit from one creditor, and several other potential. Rudy quickly got my filing in order and obtained bankruptcy discharge by early January. Throughout the entire process, Rudy patiently took as much time as I needed to explain everything, and the entire process went very smoothly. Rudy is extremely knowledgeable about the San Diego court system in addition to bankruptcy law.
