Norman Benjamin Cramer

I am the Managing Partner of the San Diego office of Carroll Kelly Trotter Franzen & McBride.  My practice focuses on civil litigation defense. I actively litigate cases involving allegations of medical malpractice, professional liability, general liability, toxic exposure, and premises liability.

As the son of a Marine Corps officer, I was born in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. I grew up on both coasts before eventually going to high school in Carlsbad, California. I graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles with a B.A. in History in 2005 and obtained my J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2008.

I am admitted to practice law in all courts in the State of California and the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. I am a member of the State Bar of California, San Diego County Bar Association, San Diego Defense Lawyers, and Lawyers Club of San Diego.  I am the President-Elect of the San Diego Defense Lawyers and I am the Treasurer of the San Diego Association for Healthcare Risk Management.

I have been selected as a finalist for "Top Young Attorney in San Diego" by The Daily Transcript and a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers Magazine. I was a panelist at the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel 2016 Annual Seminar, where I spoke about trial preparation.

In my spare time, I enjoy competing in triathlons, half marathons, and golf tournaments.
