Mark Allen Osman

While "working" my wrongful termination case, Mark Osman's demeanor throughout the time I retained him was pleasant but evasive and not confident. He initially said I had a strong case but quickly then switched when he spoke to the employer in an initial attempt to settle. After the employer indicate...d they would not settle he wanted to quit. On at least two occasions he suggested that I retain another attorney then recanted after I informed him to put this in writing. He would continually tell me that he would work hard on my case and what a good lawyer he is. Mr. Osman gave off a vibe of not being transparent and at one point even remarked that he should not have to inform me of "every Iittle thing" about my case. I also felt that our conversations were being recorded and when I inquired about this he denied it. The end for me was when he wanted me to use him to file a case with the state (you don't need a lawyer to do this) because he was too intimidated by the employers opposing lawyers. Fortunately I fired him before investing too much energy, time and money. Lazy is the only word I can think of his "efforts." If you want a transparent, confident lawyer that will fight for your rights I would bypass Mark Osman. If you want a nice guy then Mark is your man.

After a lengthy and arduous interviewing process I had joined a company as a top level executive. My staff brought to my attention that there may have been wage and hour violations directed by higher level executives from within which I escalated. Within days of bringing this up, I was terminated. I... consulted and ultimately hired Mark to pursue a whistleblower claim against my former employer. Unfortunately there wasn’t a lot of documentation available to support my claim and Mark set clear, conservative expectations of the outcome. His research into my case and supporting case law was outstanding. He was able to build a convincing claim to approach my former employer with. All the while his communication and attention to detail keep me informed and the facts accurate. While I can’t discuss the outcome, I have to say he exceeded my expectations – he’s a true fighter and I highly recommend his advocacy.
