Mrs. Farris took a chance on my case when no other attorney would help. She and her team worked diligently to help. My family will always be grateful for her hard work and knowledge that helped us to a victory.

I cannot begin to express how satisfied I am with the work of Ms. Farris and her staff including her paralegal Haylie Brossard. She has taken a complex case and articulated with exact precision and identified the legal issues. It is absolutely outstanding work. We have had experiences with other attorneys in the past who seemed more interested in collecting their fees than in providing real service. Ms. Farris took the time to thoroughly understand my case and the complexities, frankly discussing the merits as well as liabilities, setting expectations and helping to define a strategy. She has been totally professional and objective and demonstrates a complete mastery of all the legal matters involved. She and her staff have been extremely responsive in voice and Email communications.
As one who has studied case law as a hobby and had already invested considerable time in learning about the legal issues of my case, I could tell immediately that Ms. Farris was the right person for my case. She served as a Master in the American Inns of Court chapter in North San Diego, which is a significant achievement. Her technical skill in the field of employment law is unquestionable.
Anybody who believes they have been wronged to a point that requires legal action is generally under a lot of stress. Above and beyond the technical skills, I was impressed with her warm personality, her zeal for justice, and her compassion. Though the case has not yet gone to trial or been settled, I am confident that we will receive the best possible outcome because of her efforts. My satisfaction is at such a high level that I could not resist the urge to post a deservedly positive review even before the case outcome is decided.
Laurence Haines, Family Attorney
Relationship: Worked together on matter
I highly endorse this lawyer. Laura is a dedicated and outstanding advocate for employees who are discriminated against, harassed or retaliated against by their employers. We have worked together on matters including co-chairs on a high dollar jury trial against the City of San Diego regarding a disability discrimination claim. The city lost the case and ultimately had to pay out close to $900,000 after judgment and request for statutory attorneys fees.
Renee Schor, Employment and labor Attorney
Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter
I am happy to endorse Laura. As a defense attorney, I see lots of plaintiff's lawyers in action. I regularly refer individuals to Laura because she is smart, pragmatic, diligent and talented. She fights hard (and well) for her clients, and is always professional and reasonable.
