Gary’s civil practice focuses on complex business and employment disputes involving sales transactions, dealership and licensing agreements, fraud, interference, false claims, civil RICO, false advertising, unfair competition, wrongful termination, whistleblower retaliation, theft of trade secrets, and non-compete/solicitation agreements.

Gary’s employee misconduct practice involves counseling on the creation of policies and procedures designed to deter employee misconduct, counseling on the creation of response plans in the event of employee misconduct and whistleblowing, conducting internal investigations into allegations of wrongdoing, counseling on employee discipline and termination, prosecuting claims against wrongdoers, and and defending claims brought by wrongdoers, whistleblowers, and third parties.

Gary’s criminal practice focuses on internal investigations, subpoena responses, and white collar criminal defense. Representative engagements have involved the US DOJ, SEC, FTC, DOC, DCIS, NCIS, IRS, California DOC, California FTB, California AGO, and local District Attorney’s Offices.
