I first met Dacely Garcia at the lowest point in my life in the visiting room of the federal jail downtown San Diego. Looking across the table at her I thought, “How could could she possibly understand my life, what I had been through, and what brought me to this point?” I was distrustful, afraid, a...nd hopeless. I came to realize that she was understanding, but it was not her understanding of me that was most important. What was most important was most important was that she is a skillful attorney, and skilled she is! Understanding me was secondary. She helped me to see how important it was to be honest and remorseful about what I had done. She encouraged me to get the help I needed physically and mentally. I had severe back pain and walked with a cane. I also have PTSD. For both these reasons I thought I would not be able to work. Dacely Garcia got my sentencing date continued long enough for me to get much needed back surgery and recovery time. I also began seeing a trauma therapist. I am no longer in pain, I can walk without a cane, and I have begun to heal from my trauma. Because of this I have hope for the future and will forever be grateful to her. In the beginning it took a little time, but now I completely trusted her. Dacely Garcia did not coddle me or give me false hope. She guided me in the right direction, fought hard for me, and got me the best possible outcome. I was first told that the maximum time I could do was 20 years. In Oct 22 2023 I found myself arrested and looking and 20 year sentence. My attorney told me it would lower to 3 year due to my circumstances. Further time went by my attorney Miss Dalcey stayed in touched and worked with me to make a plan . She very honest and hard working . She never neglected her ...roll as my attorney throughout the whole year I was out on bail she communicated tried her best to see if their would be any possibility for me to do my time outside since I do have a son . A year past with all her hard work she never lost faith in me and worked with me not only as my attorney I can really see she cared for me and my situation. She asked about my son and checked up on my progress . This year Oct 23 2024 I got my sentencing and even though it looked impossible a year ago thanks to all her persistence . With all true honesty the best lawyer I've ever met and hired. This is my story. I found Ms. Garcia online. I dont even know how I ended up in her office. I swear she's God's gift to me because my life has been very troubled and turbulent. I was looking for a lawyer to save me. She was willing to he...lp me with a restraining order against my son's father. I remember storming in to her office nervous, scared and very figity. At times I was demanding. I tell you my case was very complicated.. I needed the best of the best and here she was Ms.Dacely Garcia. She asked me to collect any evidence that would prove some sort of defence against the father of my baby. He wanted to take my child away from me.. The father and I had a very bad relationship after our son was born it got worst we fought alot. We both had evidence of our domestic violance incidents. At the time I was on probation for a felony dui. I was scared that the court was going to grant the father custody because of the evidence he had against me. Convince them to not dig into what was going on. That it was a misunderstanding and that she was going to resolve it and represent my innocence. My probation orders me to contact scram and join the program for 6 months. Court comes for the dui. I tell you I though I was going to jail. Well I didn't this would of been my 3rd dui. Ms.Garcia kept me out of jail and with no dui charge. She was my rock in the storm I tell you shes the best of the best. Always answered the phone when I called. I remember calling her one day and she was in a funeral but still managed to put ease to my soul. Its amazing. She truly a one of a kind lawyer. My cases were tuff I tell you. Im so thankful for her.
