I was very fortunate to retain Claire Lightner to represent me in my Divorce a few years back. I must say she couldn't make me feel more secure and really handled my Divorce flawlessly. She was always available and accessible and I never felt like I could not reach her for any questions or concerns... I may have had. Claire is very detailed oriented and was so prepared for every situation that was thrown at her. My Divorce was a very stressful situation for me but, she was aggressive and she proved that she was there to comfort me and make me feel at ease. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a solid Divorce Attorney and I have done so many times since!

I can't say enough how grateful I was for the excellent legal representation I received from Claire. Going through a divorce was one of the most stressful events in my life and I couldn't have been in better hands. She had to work with a very difficult petitioner who had a very challenging lawyer. ... I was so impressed with how she wouldn't to allow the legal expenses for useless actions brought on by the petitioner to get out of hand. She was excellent in the courtroom and always well prepared. She always made sure I understood what the legal actions I was facing and was well prepared on how to counsel me on my options. Her legal knowledge, care for her clients, professionalism, honesty and integrity are at the highest level. I highly recommend Claire for any family law needs.

First off, no one asked me or suggested I write a favorable review for my former Attorney Claire Lightner (pause to raise right hand and solemnly swear). This is just a small token of my appreciation for her taking on my train wrecked case, knowing that there would be no big pay out at the conclusion.... The other reason I'm writing this review is for those conducting their due diligence in seeking a strong female divorce attorney who is scrupulous, smart, and a true advocate. (I went through 3 attorneys prior to finding Claire, two of which were women and neither one held a candle to Claire.) I know that's a big statement and I wouldn't say it if it weren't true - especially after the WAR I went through (4 years) in total. After my horrific experience with the painfully slow family court system, and attorneys (1 especially who represented me for 9 months who truly earned the rep that most attorneys are blood suckers), I felt folks should know that there is an attorney I would recommend and I'm sure other clients of Claire's would as well. My only regret is I found her so late in my case that much of it was not repairable. That said, she fought hard to right the ship as best as she could and I and my children will be forever grateful. Claire and her paralegal Dorothy work well as a team and are meticulous with details. Expect nothing but sheer professionalism, don't expect hand holding, a shoulder to cry on or therapy (not that they aren't sympathetic), they are, but they are not about wracking up billable hours - which is a good thing! They stick to facts and the law and present them in a clear and convincing way. Advice or consults are good as well - if you want to start there. I feel Claire is honest in her reaction in hearing the details of the case and also predicts an honest scenario of expectation too. Even if it's not best case for you or what you hoped to hear. Now that I think is the mark of TRUE professional with morals and values! In the more often than not ugly divorce business, I think that's really something. Good luck!
