Jan Karen Maiden

I hired Jan to represent me to renew my domestic violence restraining order as I am a survivor of domestic violence. She had the defendent testify for 15 minutes but didnt have me testify at all. She told me " the judge made up her mind when she walked into the courtroom. I could have had you testify... until you were blue in the face but it wouldn't have made a difference. Plus the other side took up all the time." Me testifying was the strongest evidence we had. She didn't submit evidence that I sent her and she did not follow the plan we made. She did not bring up how severe the abuse was in the past or that it happened in front of our daughter. She did not deny false statements made by the other party which is silent confirmation. She did irrereversible damage to my case and had to hire another lawyer to fix the mess she made.
