EXCELLENT Attorney

If you want someone to fight for you, Allen Bloom is the one. His strategy in my defense totally paid off. He fought hard for me and it worked out. I would highly recommend him to fight your legal battles. He's fearless and doesn't play any games when it comes to your defense. If you want positive re...sults, retain Allen Bloom. Its worth every dime!!!!

Hiring Allen Bloom gives you the best chance of success in your case. If your case is serious, you need Allen.

If you ever find yourself facing a criminal charge and do not know where to begin with the overwhelming and daunting process of hiring a criminal defense attorney, rest assured that you can end your search with Allen Bloom. I found myself in trouble in a different state facing a serious charge that ...would have had life-shattering consequences, and frankly it was very hard to cope with the weight of all of it. After following a close family friend's recommendation and flying out from the East Coast to San Diego to meet with Allen, I instantly moved to relieve my previous attorney of their duties and replace them with Allen. From Day 1 Allen fought for me to the best of his abilities and I was very literally able to sleep better at night knowing that a 40-year veteran with a resume that boasts internationally famous cases spanning up to the most serious of charges, was putting in more effort than I think anyone else would have put into my case. The difference maker in Allen's approach is his true care for his clients. He really views each and every client as the person they are and not just part of his job. He understands that he is fighting for your life and he does not take that lightly. After months of flying from coast to coast and being in and out of court rooms, Allen ultimately was able to greatly reduce my charge from something that would have threatened my overall well-being for decades to come into something very minor that will soon only be an afterthought. With no exaggeration and with with confidence, I can say that hiring Allen Bloom as my criminal defense attorney was the single most important, and by far the best decision I have made in my entire life. I owe so much to his ability to care for his clients, but mostly to his skill in the courtroom. Thank you Allen.

Allen Bloom's Work as a Crimianl Lawyer

Allen Bloom….he is almost indescribable. I would recommend Allen Bloom to anyone that needs a caring and detailed Criminal Attorney. He assisted our family through two cases that were both long, difficult, and seemingly without hope processes. My family and I were to the point of giving up and acc...epting the fact of two of our family members possibly spending the rest of their lives apart from us forever. Attorney Bloom’s work speaks for itself. He was hired for two different cases for our family. He is not limited to just the California area. We reached out to him for a situation in another state and he accepted the challenge and a challenge it was. Everything seemed to be so dim and not much hope….Attorney Bloom has the love for people and once he met with both of these clients, he was nonstop. He believed that both of them were innocent and that’s what he fought for was an opportunity for both of them to have what they deserved: a chance to be back in the society that they should have never been away from, to be with their families and get their lives back on track. These were both felony cases and as stated above we could have chosen other attorneys in the second state but once you meet Allen Bloom “there is no second choice.” His character as an individual and the manner that he worked with the family is simply unbelievable. There is an unbreakable bond because he makes no one feel that he is above their situation and yes he had every right to say NO on the second case but he didn’t. Allen Bloom is very aggressive and he sticks to the facts in the case. When I first met Attorney Bloom I thought “an attorney in blue jeans and t-shirt,” what has my family gotten ourselves into. After you meet him and begin to talk with him you realize that you have made the best choice even before the end of the trial –he keeps you abreast of what’s going on, not sugar coating anything though…he simply keeps it REAL. He never picks you up or sets you up for the big letdown. It’s all explained to you so that you understand daily what is going on. After watching him during the first trial, I realized he’s a beast in the courtroom. He has the ability to make decisions/adjustments during the trial against the prosecutor and I’ve never seen an attorney such as Allen Bloom to face judges in the manner that he does. Attorney Bloom is not afraid – he argues and fights until the end just like it’s his own family member. He is simply amazing to watch how tactful he is in court. I’m praying that my family NEVER needs him in this manner but I would love to be able to watch him in court again. He cares about PEOPLE and how they are treated. It’s amazing to meet someone of his character knowing where he is in the world. No one is too small for him…everybody is somebody and doesn’t matter what your “race” is. You just can’t help but love him not just because of his work but also the person that he is inside. It’s just HIS calling…it never seems to be about the dollar. He’s a part of our family now… just like another BROTHER to me. It’s been several years since he handled these two cases and there was some time-frame in between each but when Allen Bloom is your attorney there is no loss of communication. He stays in touch via email and every now and then you may even be surprised with a phone call. He is unreal but REAL…not many people like him especially outside of your immediate family. Since he handled the cases, my mother transitioned into her heavenly home and my daughter graduated from high school…Attorney Bloom was just like a part of MY family during both situations. All I can say is “TO KNOW HIM, IS TO LOVE HIM.”

Astute and Righteous Attorney

This is a felony case with IST (incompetent to stand trial) situation. At the end, we got everything that we wanted, and my wife did not spend any day in custody after the first hearing (this matters the most!). He kept informed me with his thought process - he responded to my email regardless ...of time (night / weekend). Because he is looking out for our interest, he did not settle quickly (he recommended to reject the DA offer for plea bargain). The entire case lasted 1.5 year. When i contacted Allen, my wife had been charged with a felony case, and was deemed IST and was sent to state hospital for up to 3 years. The worst part is all IST persons have to wait in county jail for months before being transfer to state hospital (jail cannot take care of mentally ill person - I was absolutely devastated - my wife was so sick and by the time she got to the hospital she could not walk). Allen helped speed her transfer from county jail to the hospital after 7 weeks (see Freddy Mille case). After 5 months, Allen drove 120 miles to visit my wife and interviewed her with the intent to speed up her release; and later let the hospital know that she could assist him in her defense. After the first court hearing, my wife was pretty much out from custody since then (again, this counted the most!) - i did not have to post another bail during the series of hearing (my prev attorney screwed up). In the proceeding, Allen recommended going through the criminal path (by *not* pleading guilty due to insanity / mental illness) - that was a good call. He told me the strategy for my wife by staying out of trouble, visiting psychiatric and lengthen the hearing. Looking back, he made all the right call... Thank you Allen.

Not professional at all. Treat client disrespectful. If you been accused, he will treat you as criminals too.

I hired him in 2005. Had a very bad experience on his mind game. Sweet talk to you first to get you retain and after that 180 degree cold on you. Late on scheduled meetings, left the trial strategies for the investigator -as if your case is too small and would not bring any fame for him, don't prep y...ou before trial, never discussed about the pros and cons, wrote the closing statement while the DA presented her closing, etc. Once he thinks you are guilty, he would not side and help you at all. Very hard to work with. He is not courteous or friendly or treat you equally as he thinks you are criminal period. Don't waste your money in him. He would never be on your side, fight hard enough for your freedom.
