Judy helped me with a personal matter about a year ago. Let's face it, I was embarrassed. But Judy never talked down to me, or made me feel bad. I loved her sense of humor because it helped me to relax. She was prompt, looked professional, and knew her stuff. She is fabulous. My name is Brian, and I work for a competing criminal defence lawfirm. I asked Judy to take care of a case for me without telling her I worked in the criminal field. I did not want my firm to know that I got into a bit of trouble. I am very critical about performance and communication, since I work ...for an A+ rated lawfirm and deal with over 30 attorneys. Due to the nature of this business, I expected the possibility of something hitting a snag. Often times it does, through no fault of the attorney. In this particular case, I was extremely pleased at not only her professionalism, but her results. She was able to wrangle a deal that our attorneys would not have been able to do because of her connections in the Vista court. I understand on some of these reviews that they seem to be mad. That is unfortunate for Judy, because people who don't get exactly what they want are often upset when their unrealistic outcome is not reached. Judy did a fabulous job in reducing my fines by over $1000 bucks and reducing 2 criminal charges to two infractions! I was enormously pleased since I understand what the penalties should have been. Bottom line is..... I have no reason to praise Judy while working for a competing lawfirm, other than she deserves it. She is an outstanding attorney with unusually good communication skills. Because of this experience, I believe some of these reviews are from disgruntled defendants who do not understand the process, and had unrealistic expectations of the outcome. I would not hesitate to have this attorney represent ANY criminal cases I might have in the future.

I hired Judy Ellis to work on some traffic tickets of mine. I had a suspended license for a failure to pay. I was greatful with my results. I was contacted in a timely manner and informed on all actions being taken. She not only got my fines dismissed which added a total of 1500, she got my licens...e re-instated right away. She went out of her way to go to three seprate course houses in one day to get the task done. I highly recomend Judy Ellis, I have also done some research on her and she is in the top 5 percent of criminal attorneys in California, and she charges fair fees.

Judy was hired to represent me in my DUI case. Judy promptly called me on the first day that she was assigned to my case. She seemed knowledgable in DUI cases and promptly got back with me however, after my hearing with the DMV she was extremely slow to get back with me (it took over a week for her t...o return my calls reguarding the DMV's decision, and five days and counting reguarding my court date) This is horrible service considering the amout of money I'm paying for her to represent me. This also makes me wonder how much time she is putting into my case if she can't even give me a five minunte phone call.
