Paula helped me get all the right documents I needed to get a divorce and get full custody of my child. She appeared at court and handled the situation very well and was prepared and organized. I hired Paula Kleinman to help me get unsupervised visits with my children after they were requested by my child’s mother due to a brain injury. At the initial meeting with Paula, she made me feel like she would be able to get me unsupervised visitation until she received the $3500 retainer fee and t...hats when her whole approach and effort changed. At my court hearing, she asked to sit and have a meeting with my sons mother that lasted over 2 hours at $300 a hour. During the meeting, there weren’t any points made by Paula, she was basically an expensive spectator or interpreter. When the meeting was completed she was not able to get me 1 thing I requested of her. I was ordered to have supervised visits at $40 a hour. When I fired Paula I Called and emailed multiple times to receive any remaining funds so I could hire a helpful lawyer, I WAS CHARGED TO FIRE WHICH WAS BILLED AS “Drafted email to client and substitution of attorney” for .2 of a hour $60. When I let her know that I would no longer be needing her services and to send me a substitution of attorney form, there apparently was another determined father that was also firing her that same day as Paula being the genius she is, sent me his substitution of attorney form. So I called no more than twice a day to get her to send the correct form and to receive my refund. I had no idea my refund was dwindling while I was contacting her to receive it. Upon asking Paula Kleinman what she did for me, this was her exact response “Please review the custody order wherein I negotiated you to have no supervised visits and mother to pay one-half of day. Please review the DCSS wherein the one-half payment of the professional supervision will take be applied.” It states she negotiated for me to have no supervised visits and for mother to pay “one-half of day”, now IF no supervised visits were granted then what is mother to pay half of? Mother made the offer to take half of the paid supervisor out of her already over $2000 a month child support. NOT Paula. At the end of everything, Paula was no help to me whatsoever, if anything she hurt me because she couldn’t speak to my child’s mother with respect.

Paula Kleinman is the definition of professionalism. She was invested in my case and provided me with amazing results. I was in a situation in which my spouse had obtained full custody legal and physical custody of my children. Prior to hiring her, I mistakenly violated a separation agreement and ...the judge awarded full custody to my spouse. I was only allowed to see my children a few hours during the week and every other weekend. The mediator submitted a report to the court recommending that I only receive 16 hours of supervised visitation per week. The attorney I had during that time was unproductive and not attentive to my case. I sought after a new attorney and came across Paula Kleinman. Immediately I was impressed with her and the staff. When we arrived at court to determine the permanent custody she was nothing less than amazing. She spoke first at the hearing and she predicted everything that my spouse’s attorney would argue. Without any doubt she explained that all of my spouse’s allegations were false and without merit. When it was my spouse’s attorney’s time to speak she seemed to be dumbfounded and without a position. Ultimately the judge awarded joint custody and split visitation. There was a tremendous amount of uncertainty and the odds were not in my favor. Paula Kleinman is the only reason the results came out this way. I recommend her at the highest level. She is trustworthy and a true professional that will invest in your case and provide a work ethic that is second to none!

Attorney Paula Kleinman is an EXCELLENT attorney! I had a custody battle with my ex-husband who violated a court order and did not return my 2 minor children home.
