If you are a military spouse, need an aggressive attorney who is knowledgeable about family law...DO NOT GO TO HER! I gave this attorney my last 2k for a retainer, she worked (I use that term very loosely) on the case for 3 months at the most. Once she went through the retainer...which I don't know h...ow since she did nothing for me. She represented me in court and talked negatively about me to the other party. She stated she couldn't represent me TO him and his attorney. Not only was this verified through my husband but also in emails from his attorney. How unprofessional and disrespectful of an attorney. Also, convenient for her that the retainer was gone when she started asking to withdraw from the case. She then ignored my phone calls and emails for over a month and a half and told the other party I was not responding. I have actual billing statements given to me by the other party that show this. A week before my trial, sent me an email to sign a paper to get another attorney. I even asked her to send one email to the other party to try and resolve the case and no response. Besides her complete incompetency, her responses she prepared were nothing like a trained professional would write.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Paula Kleinman. I retained Paula after my miserable and costly experience with a previous attorney. She worked zealously on my case. Paula was compassionate and easy to talk to when discussing my case and the actions that needed to be taken. Her staff was plea...sant and would bend over backwards to make me comfortable and knowledgeable on what was going on with my case. It is hard to find an understanding attorney who will take the time to know you on a personal level. I had a very litigious divorce case, but Paula handled it gracefully and with sensible attorney’s fees. From the research I did prior to hiring Paula, her rates are very reasonable and her services worthwhile. I am shocked to see that other clients had a terrible experience with Paula.
