Nathan was our attorney for Bankrupsy Chapter 7. We had accumulated a large amount of debt. He reviewed options with my wife and myself; he guided us with filing and all aspects of the legal proceedings; he provided needed information and answered questions as we moved forward; finally, assisted us w...hen we went to court which provided a second chance. I paid Nathan Shilberg $834 to file a ch 7 bankruptcy for me. He has been paid in full for months. He never returns calls or emails. Finally, I started picking up the pace to contact him about filing my case. With no response, I've requested a refund from him several times. Never any response...a...nd just this past weekend his office phone and cell phone have been disconnected. I've had to contact the California State Bar and file a formal complaint against him. He has been suspended from practicing law in both California AND Connecticut for moral turpitude, misconduct and not paying his Bar membership fees. Go to the state Bar of Calif. website and read the discipline report that got him suspended for a year. He clearly has a history of unethical behavior and should be disbarred.
