Jeff Larkin is a great choice

Jeff represented my wife and I in a Ch7 BK. He was extremely prompt in returning phone calls to us and answering all of our questions. Jeff was very professional and represented us in person, despite our case being in Riverside. I would happily refer Jeff to anyone in need of help with a bankruptcy.

An honest, compassionate, sincere attorney with integrity

Due to the current economic crisis, my husband's loss of significant income, and my failure to get rehired (even in a lower position), we were confronted with the realization that we were drowning in our debts. We have always been responsible people and went to great lengths to ensure that we paid o...ur creditors in a timely manner. We used our IRAs, 401Ks and other sources (which is a no-no) to compensate for the lost income because we believed the economy would turn around...it didn't...and we ran out of options. We were in shock. We had never in our lives been in this precarious position and the stress was playing havoc with my health. We were facing a dilemma with which we were totally confounded. We researched and contacted credit counselling services (credit management), and the credit settlement services. Credit management can help if you have enough money; credit settlement companies seem to drive you further into debt by charging you >15% of your debt and my research showed that many of them are unreliable once they've paid themselves first. Despite what they say, both services will ruin your credit and their fees don't include assistance if things don't work out due to negligence or oversight. A lady I met at a job fair recommended the Doan Law Firm and a trusted friend from my church said another couple had good results with Pacific Law. As I looked at their firms on the internet, I stumbled onto the name of Jeffrey Larkin who...wow!!!...had worked at both firms prior to starting his own practice. We met with Mr. Larkin and explained our situation. He exhibited extreme confidence and knowledge regarding our dilemma. He explained all possible options/alternatives and did not try to scare us into making any decisions. He was exceedingly professional but had the additional gifts of being compassionate and understanding of our discomfort at being in his office in the first place. He seemed to sense the anxiety we felt and was sincere in all his comments. To make this long story short (but I wanted to convey that we thought about this long and hard), we found a true "blessing" in Jeffrey Larkin. Mr. Larkin is nothing short of remarkable. He is always ready to assist you with any questions or concerns and you don't end up speaking with an assistant or someone else who may give you differing information. He always returns calls or emails promptly and you always get straight answers. He displays a very high degree of honesty and integrity which translates to peace of mind (and finally some sleep) for you during this time of turmoil. We are still in our process but we're beginning to see hope (and life again) at the end of the tunnel. We have absolutely no reservation about recommending Mr. Jeffrey Larkin to anyone.
