Olga Fabrick

I stumbled into Olga's office depleted already having and firing 3 different incompetent attorneys for my long and drawn out family law case with my ex wife, who had gone to law school and has her Juries Doctorate. Needless to say I wasn't very optimistic about another attorney working out. Boy was ...I wrong! Olga is not only my attorney but I now consider her a friend. I am a father to an 11 year old boy who has a most difficult task of navigating through life as his mother and I battle it out in court. I explained my case and circumstances to Olga and she felt confident that we could real do a better job of fighting for my son's best interests. At one point my ex filed 16 contempt of court charges against me and Olga had ALL of them thrown out. She was professional, strong, and aggressive in dealing with the opposing attorney while being kind, compassionate and and supportive towards me. She often times made phone calls to me during her days of and even once while at a party with family just to make sure I was doing OK and not too worked up about an upcoming court appearance. I had never experienced this type of support from any previous attorney and so it was easy to tell that she cared about me and my case. Olga was always fair with her fees and really used her time wisely to prepare for my case. This money was for a good cause and she earned every penny. I had paid other attorneys in the past and this was the first time I would make payments without feeling taken advantage of. I am happy to report that my 730 evaluation and Trial ended and I was awarded primary physical custody of my son (70/30 split) as well as the power to make final decisions on all my son;s medical, dental, and sports activities. My son will live with me throughout the remainder of his academic career. I could be more satisfied with all that Olga has done for my son and I. I never thought that this day would be possible but it has arrived. It is my privileged to recommend Olga Fabrick to anyone who is in need of legal counsel. I must preface my review by saying that I am a highly educated and self-sufficient person. I came into Olga Fabric's office with a strong sense of what I wanted to do and showered her with copious documents. She read them. She listened to me. And listened. And listened. Then she advised. It fi...nally dawned on me that she was trying to protect me from myself: I was giving away far too much to my soon-to-be ex-husband. I am so grateful for her knowledge, experience, and most of all ... patience. While Olga is willing to let you cry on her shoulder (or vent or disparage) to an extent, she quickly gets down to business. That's what you want in a divorce lawyer. Her firm but gentle guidance allowed me to see the extent to which my emotions were jeopardizing my future financial survival. I ended up getting much more spousal support (which I needed more than I was able to recognize at the time) than I would have if she had let me do things my way. Olga is a deeply kind person and considers not only the well-being of her clients but that of their spouses as well. She truly works towards what is fair. She is adept at working with the opposing council, seeking common ground and finding compromises that allow both sides to move forward. Yet, when need be, she is a forceful negotiator and one tough cookie. When my husband's attorney began our first face-to-face meeting with financial threats that truly rattled me, Olga took the helm and coolly, yet forcefully, used her professional knowledge and personal acumen to quickly derail their argument. From that point, it was clear who was in charge. Her confidence became my confidence. I found the fees to be quite reasonable and the billing well-managed; she does not nickle-and-dime you to death and is far from petty. Certainly every penny was well spent; I came out better financially because of her expertise. Her legal assistant, Susan, is also terrific: very smart, proactive, knowledgeable and personable. She is an important part of the team. Over the course of the divorce proceedings, my trust in, and admiration for, Olga Fabric grew to the point that I now count her as a person I will always want to know.
