Jonathon Andrew Zitney

I met Mr. Zitney on my first court appearance more than a couple of years ago, through Mr. Timothy Pittullo's Firm. I saw a young man who was very respectful of the Court, whose demeanor was of a established professional. It is amazing how one can see the difference among lawyers when you see them ...in court appearances; Mr. Zitney stands out from the rest quite easily... His knowledge of family Law is amazing and his attitude towards providing the best service to his clients are beyond a doubt the best I have seen. Besides his knowledge of the Law, I was most impressed with his professionalism, courtesy, care about cases, and most importantly to me his humble attitude. I can see how some trades are specially difficult because professionals are dealing with people's lives and emotions. It takes special people to be able to do these jobs, and Mr. Zitney is well suited to this type of work. His ability to translate law terms or situations into the common daily language is impressive. He will ensure you get the full understanding of what is transpiring in your case. Even though he is very professional about his job, it is comforting to know he understands and empathizes with you as to what is going on. It is brutal warfare at times in court, and when your head is filled with legal terms and there is fear of the unknown, professionals like Mr. Zitney come across in full understanding of what the client is going through and he will provide that feeling of things are going to be ok... a very valuable trait to posses in such a cold legalistic industry. His work is direct, aggressive, ethical, and you would never wonder where you are, he will tell you. Mr. Zitney was part of my team of Lawyers at Mr. Timothy Pittullo's Firm. I can only count my blessings to have had the best you can hope for and are walking away with a humble heart and nothing but admiration and respect for such a great team of professionals and human beings. My experience with Mr. Zitney and the staff at Pittullo, Barker & Associates was as good as a divorce situation could be. Not only did they handle my case with great professionalism, and efficiency they cared and continue to care about me and my daughters’ well-being. I never felt as if I were just... a number to them. I hired Jonathon's office Tim Pittullo & Associates in the spring of 2012, after my former attorney had neglected my case. Jonathon was a professional, he kept me informed via phone calls and emails. They did the proper discovery in their office and with the accountants. My case was a nightmare, ex...cept for the law firm i hired. Jonathon and Tim were prepared for us to go to trial. Jonathon negotiated a settlement that saved me many many thousands of dollars with my settlement along with attorneys fees and accountants fees and the drama that comes with a big divorce trial. I was working with the law firm of Schwartzberg & Luther and this attorney was working on my case as well. I had called and needed follow-up done on my case and called and called and Mr. Zitney did not follow-up with me on time sensitive issues and the response from him and the law firm was extremely... unprofessional. I would not recommend him or any firm he is now with or the law firm of Schwartzberg & Luther. When I called back the firm again after no one got back with me I was told my an admin person that Mr. Zitney was no longer with the firm and that they were distancing themselves from him because of something that went on that they didn't think was above board. They made it should bad. They also said that the partner Attorney Pittullo was no longer going to be affiliated with them as well. The entire thing left a bad experience and this is not the way you handle clients.
