September 25. 2016 Mr. Blasser was successful in getting all of our money back on a car that we purchased in June, 2013. The car started burning 1 quart of oil every 700 miles at right around 50,000 miles after never burning any oil between changes. After adding 13 quarts of oil in 11,000 miles I sa...t down with the GM of the dealership and he promised to resolve the issue. He did nothing except exchange some emails and then NEVER call me back. That was in September, 2015. We took the car to another dealership per BMWNA suggestion and the dealership who sold it to us refused to authorize repairs and refused to make the repairs either. Eventually, the original dealership agreed to "fix" the problem but they said it was a different issue than diagnosed by the other mechanics. After having the car for 9 weeks, they finally returned the car but the power steering no longer worked. I took the car back to them within 10 minutes and was told "It's just a bubble in the line, just drive it and it will be fine". It was not fine and neither was the oil burning issue. When I returned with the ongoing oil problems and the continued steering battle, I was told to leave the lot and was escorted by my arm back to the car. The service manager said he told per management he "was not allowed to even sell me a set of tires". He said it was because I had written a bad review. I told him I had never written any reviews. He then asked if I had answered the customer survey and I concurred I had done that and that I had answered honestly about the battle that had been going for 14 months. In response to that his exact words were "That was your mistake. You shouldn't have done that" and he told me to leave. I was crying and didn't know where to turn so I called an attorney friend that said he could write a letter for me but they would likely just toss it aside since he was a real estate lawyer. He recommended I find someone experienced in this type of law. I turned to YELP and found many bad reviews by several customers of this dealership treated as poorly as myself. I noticed 1 review that mentioned a successful complaint/suit against the dealership and I reached out to him for the name of his attorney. Fast forward to reaching the Blasser Law Firm. Mr. Blasser had me put together the highlights of what occurred and though a lot of correspondence took place from then until now, I am thrilled to report the dealership has returned all of our down payment, all our payments, has to pay off the loan balance, pay Mr. Blasser's fees and took the car back. This is the first time I have ever needed to hire council in my life. I am an easy going person who was taken advantage of by bully tactics and Mr. Blasser brought in the right amount of legal fire power to get the job done. I few times I was impatient when I didn't understand the process but Blasser Law Firm was able to calm my fears and prevail. An auto dealership mis-sold us a truck which would not have legitimately passed a CA smog test (although, 'somehow' it did). Found reference and link to Avvo / Bill Blasser on a forum which addressed such issues. After calling and explaining our situation, Bill was immediately interested in the case ...and it was very clear when speaking with him that he has a genuine passion to represent consumers who have been taken advantage of by unscrupulous auto dealers. He has a great deal of experience, and it shows. Ours was a fairly clear-cut case, but consumers don't stand much of a chance when attempting to get dealerships to listen to genuine issues after they have the customer's money. I'd have no reservation is recommending Blasser Law to anyone seeking to defend their rights after being mis-sold a vehicle. Bill produced the desired result in a short time-frame and my wife and I felt confident of a successful outcome with his rapid follow-up, not-to-mention vindicated, by the dealership's rapid response to Bill's communications/actions .
