I hired Daniel Paletz office for my divorce case and was end with Lauren being assigned to my case by Daniel. Let me start with saying that she is just not good in all aspects of Family laws. In my case, the worst part was that she fought 'against' all my interests and helped made decisions in favor ...of my ex-wife. To an extent, she talked with opposing counsel and without my consent, gave many concessions to the opposing counsel, including agreeing to higher child support and spousal support. She allowed them to use 2/3 of my ex-wife income to get her higher support amounts. Similar to this she made some other bad agreements that badly affected my case. To me the damage to my case was such that I filed complaint against her with ‘The State Bar of California’ for disciplinary action against her. To me she broke the code of conduct. My recommendation to all is just stay away. She will fail you, no matter what! And yes I fired her within couple of months of engaging.

My son wanted to move in with me. We needed a ruling before he started school in the fall, six months. This is impossible to do with a slow court system. Lauren’s first attempt for a court date put us into the school year. Lauren when back a second time and got us a court date several weeks before... school started. Without this my case would have been lost. My first experience with family law several years ago took me three years of a $350 per hour attorney to resolve the issue. Laurens rate is significantly lower than that and I was worried that the quality of her representation would not be at the same level as my previous lawyer. I found the Lauren’s ability to be greater than my original expensive lawyer. I am very happy with the declarations that Lauren wrote for my case. I have a family member that is an attorney and Lauren brought elements to our case that we never thought of. I worried that the billing would be very aggressive to make up for the lower rate for Lauren. I was pleasantly surprised that the firm billed me lighter than what I expected. I would write the exact same review if I lost this case. This firm is efficient, fair and knowledgeable.
